Great video! I'm very happy for Marcy and her recovery! This video seriously made me hopeful. Lord i've been ABSOLUTELY terrified and wildly depressed due to the knee pain i've been experiencing for a few weeks now which doesn't seem to be getting better. Do you know if this procedure is covered by Medicaid? How much does this procedure usually cost altogether? Can you recommend any doctors in NYC? My knees seem to be all screwed up from when I was a heavy fellow. I lost 300lbs and the pain kinda went away. However, about a month ago I went on a jog which really hurt something in my knee area. I got checked and was diagnosed with ostheoarthritis after an MRI. I have this strange pain i've never really felt before, for this long and it doesn't seem to be letting up. It's terrifying to me and i'm trying to find help wherever I can. I'm 37 years old and I was trying to be physically active until this happened about a month ago. Honestly, i'm kinda scared. Is this pain going to last forever? Also, who can legally administer prolotherapy and prp? Is it different for each state? Is there a way to convince my insurance to cover it? i had prolotherapy on spinal canal stenosis,and the lower lumbar with success,i will proceed on to the knees,great stuff

This is wonderful news! I have been told I need a knee replacement for osteoarthritis. Does the PRP Prolotherapy help with bone-on-bone arthritis also? So happy for Marcy!

In many bone-on-bone cases, stem cell Prolotherapy would be the preferred solution. There are times, though, that a person would not need that strong of a proliferant. How long is the inflammation from prolotherapy expected to last?. Will the inflammation be localized to the place where the injection was applied or is it bound to spread to other areas as well?.

Hi Jayanthi, The inflammation is localized and usually lasts a few days after treatment.

@@CaringmedicalProlotherapy Thank you! My mom took multi-point prolotherapy injections on both her knees four days ago which has triggered inflammation along with excruciating pain. The pain hasn’t subsided thus far and has spread to other areas of her lower body. Is this the expected response to the treatment? If so, how long is the inflammation and pain expected to last before subsiding? Also, do you have any recommendations to alleviate the pain when undergoing this therapy? I am concerned about the unexpected side-affects. Would you recommend taking any pain-killers?
