One thing I loved about BNB is that he always admitted in his interviews and was open about the fact that he only did it for the money. A guy who just understood the basics of just doing a job and getting paid. There’s no shame in that and BNB was a master at playing the villain. Truly an underrated guy with tons of great stories. May he rest in eternal peace.

Great shoot interview! Bad News was a great heel. I was a kid when he was in the WWF. He was one of my favorites. It’s a rare thing to find wrestlers that are 100% real and honest. That’s what’s great about him. He doesn’t embellish like 99% of wrestlers do ( like Hogan & Flair). He doesn’t lie like most wrestlers do (like Hogan & Flair). He’s no bullshit just straight forward truth. I respect that and now I’m trying to find more shoots with him. From what I’ve seen and heard from his other shoots is he is completely consistent with what he says.

Bad News was very articulate in this interview. Highly entertaining interview. No question that he deserved to be WWF Champion. What a mistake on the part of WCW not to hire him. Had he been able to work with Dynamite Kid in WWF, it would have made for 5-star quality matches.

I don’t know about WWF champ but he was good. There were greats a lot more deserving than Brown that never got to be WWF champ. Piper, Jake Roberts, Curt Hennig, Rick Rude, Tito Santana, Ted Dibease, Dusty

I saw the matches he had with Dynamite in Stampede Wrestling in Calgary. Best wrestling ever. Although I was a teenager and knew wrestling was staged, it was hard to tell when they wrestled in Stampede Wrestling. When Bad News wrestled and trash talked in the WWF, you could tell so much that it was fake

I think by this time, his knees were too bad. Other than that, I think Bad News being the first black champion would have been good for the sport. He would have been a good ambassador regardless of his color. I was a fan and have become more of one with every interview.

The guy was legit a full contact judo type of world champ in organizations, and a medalist in olympics. Full contact judo. The Jake the Snake, being afraid of a snake, etc, by that time he was on Arsenio Hall, etc, everybody knew it was comedy. A show. I think most all people knew it is just a show and realized Bad News would easily beat the crap out of most all of them. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rXLYYmiXgdaLlZY

Yeah he talks about Bret taking himself too seriously. If you notice the majority of bad news matches end in DQ. He never wanted to bump or be taken off his feet because he was known as "the judo guy". Makes no sense. His character wasn't Kurt angle, he didn't reference his past accomplishments ever, at least in WWF.

He was in his mid 40's during his WWF run and his knees were bad. Jake Roberts mentioned this in a shoot interview. That's why he didn't want to be taken off his feet.

@@sleazyfellow He had really bad knees by the time we got to see his matches. He stayed on his feet because it was difficult for him to get up. I found him to be a really good heel. Comparing anyone's ground game to Kurt's isn't really fair. You can be a good home run hitter without being babe ruth.

I personally think the WWF/E belt lost It's meaning the moment Vince put it on Bret and Shawn,...and we knew what those 2 spoilt brats were gonna get up to, just didn't want to take orders from the boss and refuse to drop it when they're told,...on their terms, it was total BS.

Are u an idiot,, Bret ans Shawn ( who i don't even but respect his ability) are up there as top 10 all time modern WWE World Champions like The Rock , Stone Cold , Brock ,Booker T, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan a few others . HHH is NOT one of the greatest Champions cus when your married to the bosses daughter and now part owner and u have complete creative control and u make yourself win the belt 100 times to me that takes away all your credentials and prestige. Flair won the championship 14 times and in NWA Duaty Rhodes was the booker

@@georgeelmerdenbrough6906 Sorry but WWF went on a downward spiral after Hogan dropped the title to Taker. Brett steadied the ship but look at the crowd at his and HBKs iron man match, it's dead. Technically great but no atmosphere whatsoever. WCW with Hogan never would have got as big as it did if Brett saved them lets keep it real:p

I started watching the WWF in 1986 because of Pipers Pit and then watched WCW 2000 and I stopped watching WWE after Rick Flair retirement in 2010 and tried to watch WWE with Brock Lesnar and the other wrestler was just wasn't cutting it with me and it looked too fake and too much soap operas. So I stopped altogether and went back to watch the reruns of WCW and the classics of the 70's and 80's and 90's matches.

Vince is a queen who hated wrestling and its fans . Thats why he destroyed wrestling using wrestlers to do it . He is always doing everything he could to get out of wrestling again using wrestlers ....ICO-Pro , WBF , XFL , Movies and the wrestlers fund it all .... he sucks at business ....he kills everything he touches since he ran wrestling out of business to sell his PT Barnum style hokey traveling circus .
