My family most of them seller in tradisional market in covid 19 situation. The market is just like ghost place, the seller open but the buyer are not seen. I even consider to sell one of my building along with my unty's. On pandemi the buying and and selling things change most of the buyer choose merchents who can deliver their goods for daily life. Or in nearby small store and closest small market

@terubong2 жыл бұрын
Aww... you're such a masochist. Love is pain. 🤣 But I think your tolerance for spiciness has increased. Klepon is like ondeh ondeh... Pity about the ghost town feeling at the pasar, 4pm is a little late and the art market.. i suppose with next to zero tourist, its not going to be very sustainable as most of the products are made for tourist as souvenirs. But there's an interesting livestock market with cattle auction nearby if you can bear the odour. Not opened everyday, you might have to ask around. I've forgot on which day it opens. Everyday is a nice day in Bali!
@JeanVoronkova2 жыл бұрын
Slowly lah! After crying so many times at least it’s getting bit easier on the tongue haha. I was very sad about the pasar actually. Few years back I brought my parents there n we were all very wowed by the spices, veggies, the coconut bowls etc we had a great time shopping there. Hope it can return to its former glory when this covid situation improves. Cattle auction n livestock market sounds fun we gotta go back there to poke around again. I saw lots of interesting textile shops outside the market too!
@terubong2 жыл бұрын
@@JeanVoronkova I'm sure things will get better. Nothing we can do about it but for now, Bali is still as beautiful as ever and you can still enjoy it or the peace and quietness before the hordes of noisy tourist descend. (though for markets the crowds adds to the vibe) The textile shops could be Jalan Sulawesi, a narrow road lined with old shop houses mostly selling fabrics. Its very near the market. Enjoy & take care!
