I appreciate the fact that Nick also shows his failures too. It's honest and goes to show that everyone fails lifts or run times occasionally. Consistency and dedication are key. Another awesome video!

I'm 60 now, but 20 years ago I was at 240. I started running 5 miles every other day while doing 10 set of 10 with bench, deadlifts, squats and dumbell curls. Bench, squat and deadlift all 225lbs and dumbells with 40's. These workout were done twice a week after 2 of my runs. I dropped 35 pounds in 6 weeks and felt awesome.

So you did 20 sets per exercise weekly? 10 sets x 10 reps per 2 days a week, with 225 lbs on beach, squat, and deadlift...while also running 5 miles 3 or 4 times a week?....wow...what a beast...and you keep doing that 20 years later or it was back then only?

Most people will never understand how hard it is to this every fucking day. The level of discipline required to do this for years or life is insane. Remember Nick is leading a growing company and is not a professional athlete. The combination is crazy. I am wondering what the impact is with a baby in the house. It’s killing gains and sleep! Stay hard !

Eh, just a few critiques here just bc this video has been opened for comment. 1. If Nick were to maintain his triathalon shape and conduct a full tri while building all this muscle then this video should be called the hybrid build. Bc nick is only conducting 5 mile runs at 8 min pace does not make him hybrid. I doubt he could still put up tri numbers. So this video should be called the build. 2. I bet nicks heart on a day to day is feeling a pounding given the weight he has gained. I think he would never admit he was in better shape, more energetic and felt a lot better during his TRI running days. Just a valid thought. Other than the critiques. These are good tips and Nick is doing. Good job at building and maintaining his muscle mass.
@adammiller9179 Жыл бұрын
1. Most lifters don't run 20 miles per week, especially at his pace and weight. That's hybrid. 2. He's not that heavy and he only has 14% body fat.

im assuming you'd much more prefer to run out outside, but how is it running on the assault runner compared to running outside and running on a regular treadmill?
@phillipcummings35182 жыл бұрын
I don't like it because of the learning curve involved with running on the assault runner. You have to judge where to position on the treadmill for the speed so near the front for fast and back for slow.
