Wow that was amazing! A guillotine from a full guard and a neck rack. I've never seen a neck rack before but the result speaks for itself. It's hard to believe you never had wrestling techniques until late in your career. Bas, you're an inspiration!

In wrestling, we would have called that a reverse modified cradle, I think. The wrestling move doesn't try to achieve the tap, maybe it should. In wrestling it's about making your opponent's shoulder blades touch the mat for 3 seconds. I watched a guy pin himself while he had his opponent in a cradle. Everyone thought it was a bogus call, but this is very interesting to see you do it turned away from your opponent and he tapped. And I don't think it's a neck crank, it's more of a spine crank. You are taking advantage of knowledge of Anatomy, you can't lose.

Look again at the finish, it's only at the very end that his hands are close enough to each other. You can't reach your other hand at the beginning of the submission, and your arms alone aren't usually strong enough to bend the guy's whole body. Without the legs, it's like doing a chest squeeze. With the legs, you can push your arms forward and squeeze the legs... way more powerful.

Ernesto Hendrix they were technically allowed but were looked down upon in Japan. Due to the high respect fighters had for each other and Japan being a predominantly wrestling country they weren't practiced. Also you have to consider his fight with shamrock was in the the beginning of Pancrase where they still had 30 minute matches.
