This was exactly the workout I needed today! I love that you give us so much variety. Something for everyone at their own level. And when I say that I don’t just mean someone who is a beginner, advanced, etc. I mean whatever your level is right now, today. I recently pulled a muscle pretty bad and I didn’t listen to my body. I tried to push through. “I got this. I’m tough.” But you know what, that toughness almost got me a surgery. I took time off-really took time off. I rested it, iced it, and made the commitment to ease back into it. Thanks for pushing us when we need it, but reminding us to be smart and safe at the same time.

Today is the very first step aerobics session I've ever done. I'm 62 y.o. but in fairly good shape. I've been doing Pilates for 17 years. This was quite the workout though!. I was using my raised Tower mat as my bench/platform which didn't work very well (my step bench is on order). The Tower bench is too wide and is padded; it's also about 5 feet long so that was an issue too. However, I completed the 30 minutes and was able to follow most of the moves (it was a good thing I closed the door and the window blinds) but it was not pretty at all. It will take me a lot of time to figure this out. I had fun and I will keep coming back for more! Thank you Christina for making your videos available.

Another great class for those of us getting restarted! My first step class was in 1989 at Spangdahlem Air Base Germany. The wife of one of my wife's coworkers convinced us to try it, as she was the instructor, and we have been hooked ever since. A few breaks here and there - deployments, work, moves, etc, but we still try. And we are still in touch with that instructor as well. She no longer teaches, but she is a triathlete. Thank you for bring the fun back!

I was already thinking of my comment when you said exactly what I was going to say! I'm a pretty seasoned stepper now although my favourite isn't Advanced but I love Fast Basic & or Intermediate Step however it's always good to go back to basics. Today I just wanted a more simple routine at a slower pace as I'd been running around all over the place & this class was absolutely perfect. I couldn't resist doing a sprinkler though instead of the triple knee lol & due to the slower pace I was able to work on my kicks which were pretty high! Thanks Chris, this really was a fabulous class ❤

This was great for me today… I feel like my cardio has been suffering a bit lately, but I’m still a bit worried about doing a faster paced step in case I injure myself again. Instead I added a set of risers to this one and got a killer sweat on. Thanks so much for your reminder at the end of class that sometimes even as an advanced stepper it’s okay to go back because sometimes that’s exactly what we need…. It reminded me not to beat myself up about it… I’ll probably get back to faster advanced at some point, but if I don’t…. That’s alright too! 😻

I knew this might be a little too slow for me so tried to make it work better for my needs. I started by increasing the speed but thought it might be too fast. Side note, You sound good like a chipmunk Chris. 😂 I then decided to add risers to my step. I have been hesitant to do so because of ankle issues. I figured with it being basic and slower, I probably would be ok. I also made my arm movements big and boy, was my heart rate up. You would never have been able to guess looking at my workout details that I had done a basic 127 bpm workout. This is a good one for those thinking about adding risers to their step!

The instructors didn't sign the bingo paper until the end of the class. Boy, was I sweating after the class.
