I have one since 2021, this car is ENORMOUS updated since 2015 model. The reviews are rare and this car is no sell new anymore. You can't get one anymore. This is a crime because this sedan have an immortal design. The lines never get old. Inside the finish and build quality have been so much improved. Driving this car is making you calm and cool.

Sad to see the XF go; it's still one of the best cars in its class. I also believe that it's the beginning of the end for Jaguar. They have this bonkers policy of letting their cars grow old, then either replace them too late or not at all. Their current transition into a super luxurious EV brand will end in failure, because they have allowed themselves to become a dead brand.

I have a 24 plate XF p250 HSE Black pack. I've had it for 6 months now and I love it. Perfect machine for me. While it might not have a V6 or V8, drop it into dynamic mode and put the auto box in sport and it will put a smile on your face. Sounds good in the cabin in those modes as well. Comfy, and quick enough for the majority of today's roads with the amount of traffic on them. it also looks fabulous inside and out. I love it. Shame there'll be no more, apart from EVs. Real shame.

Love the XF XJ & F type I own one of each ! ................Shame Jaguar have lost the plot with this EV Tomfoolery ! They used to build cars for customers needs and wishes. They have now decided they know better what the customer needs than the customer and market, which is a massive blunder which will sadly see the end of Jaguar.
@TJW04
@TJW04 2 ай бұрын
Building to customers needs and wishes? Look at how that went for them - they sold more or less no cars. Nobody bought Jaguars because they didn’t offer anything that BMW or Mercedes don’t already have, and as a result they lost all brand equity by choosing to chase volume - try to please everyone and you’ll please no one. Products like the F-Type and XJ are what Jaguar does best. Coming from a life long Jaguar fan, owning both aforementioned products, I am glad to see they are choosing to make cars that are more exclusive and on a par with Range Rover, they need that desirability back that they had in the 90s and I hope they manage to pull it off. It’s easy to say EV = failure because that’s what car news outlets are forcing down your throats but I think it suits Jaguar perfectly. Instant power and silent when doing long journeys, and no doubt they will manage to make them handle brilliantly.
@kevinledgister5252
@kevinledgister5252 2 ай бұрын
If it’s an EV, long journeys will not be a luxury unless you have the luxury of time. The problem with the XF was that it didn’t seem to carve out a unique enough niche to continue to attract customers. BMW has handling, Mercedes has luxury, Audi has go anywhere Bauhaus styling - Jaguar?? Well, it’s nice inside but nothing stands out. And you need that to compete with the Big 3 Germans. Being non-German is not enough. Maserati Ghibli’s have a raucous exhaust that exudes personality, even if its driving dynamics weren’t that great. Another $1,000 in fine leathers that have a powerful, alluring smell, and sharpening the exhaust and power delivery could have done wonders. But alas, they are focused on delivering their next car based on hubris. For the sake of the brand I hope it survives but I have a feeling that the new models will be almost as glued to the showroom floor after an initial flurry.

I cried watching this. Ever since I was a kid jags have been in the family from the XJ which always needed maintenance, to the x type and the f type. Now they have ruined the timeless pieces they once put out over and over by making this an all electric car company. I so wish they would rethink their stance and still produce these timeless classics. RiP Jag You were and always will be my once favorite car company.

I so very nearly bought one, always loved the way it looked, so wanted to get out of my 5 series into a Jag, but I just couldn’t get an engine combo that worked. The 4 cylinder petrols just weren’t quite good enough and the fab 3.0 v6 d wasn’t available with 4 wheel drive as an estate, so the rear wheels just spun all the time on the test route. Loads of back seat space in the latest one, very good looking, big boot, great ride and handling. Such a shame they won’t be making these anymore 😢

I have owned both an xfs and xfr both of which were plagued with annoying niggles mostly electrical, Saying that i loved both of them especially the xfr and would have another one in a heartbeat. The xf is still a lovely looking car though and personally i prefer the look of the pre facelift cars. I drive a GS300 Lexus now with 150k on it and the only thing that occasionally plays up is a front parking sensor and the engine is virtually silent.

@@AndyK.1 SC V8 only until 2015, sadly. It was available on the mark 1 XF (Jaguar model code X250). On the mark 2 XF (Jaguar model code X260) the only supercharged engine was the 3 litre V6. Even that was only available from 2015 to 2018. (I have a 2016 model of that car, it's brilliant.) From 2018, petrol XF were only available in the 2 litre Ingenium 4-pot. When friends drive around in a 5 litre V8 supercharged Jaguar (XK, XKR and XK-RS), I do love the engine note!

I have a 2016 XF which has just ticked over 100,000 miles. The 2.0 Ingenum diesel engine is terrible, the XF8 speed gear box is shocking in low gears, it's as flat as a f*rt pulling away from the lights but.... once it's warmed up and you're driving at speed it's an absolute joy to drive handling wise.

Yes the 2 litre Ingenium are a bit frustrating. My 2016 has 71k miles but has the V6 Supercharged 3 litre petrol. Brutal car. Very Jekyll & Hyde: glides along smoothly, then translates into a wild beast with the right controls and a firm push on the loud pedal!

It's truly heartbreaking to see such a storied brand with such wonderful cars go the EV route. They are one of the few car brands with legitimate racing, technological, and esthetic pedigree. I feel as if that is worth preserving. Perhaps in the year Jaguar has off from selling cars they can find a place in their factory just one ICE/HEV/PHEV model. That way we don't have to say goodbye forever, rather just goodbye for now.

Crying shame. Commercial suicide. I have a 3.0d XF Portfolio that I drove out of the Charles Hurst Belfast showroom in January 2011. I still have it, It is a wonderful and engaging drive and nothing I have driven before or since matches its range of dynamic qualities and pure feel. I also prefer its style and swept back look to what followed; hence my decision to hang on to it. Plus at 140k miles it looks fabulous to this day in its liquid silver paintwork.

I bought my 2010 XF 3.0d Premium Luxury from Charles Hurst as well, as a Jaguar approved car. Wonderful car, I totally understand you hanging onto yours. For me, after 5 years of probably the best car I had ever owned in over 30 years of motoring, I moved in a more hooligan direction and got a 2016 XF S 3.0 V6 Supercharged in BRG. Which is even more fun, but I had to import it from GB. Rarer than hen's teeth here in NI but a real sleeper. Gave a nasty shock to a BMW 320D driver one day coming onto the M5. 😉 Crying shame the XF is no more... enjoy yours.
