I respect these modelers, they have a level of dedication to detail that I admire. Mind you I have no desire to be "prototypical" to these levels, but I do absolutely respect their dedication to their craft.

I grew up in northern California from 1969 at Travis AFB and Davis from 1971-1984 and also attended Sac State in Sacramento. But unfortunately life's winding road had taken me to Texas, Indiana, New York and past 15 year northern Virginia. Otherwise I'd love to attend! Did Harry make it? I am, of course, an SP fan from watching SD45's and tunnel motors come through Davis and across the causeway to Sacramento. I traveled in the early-mid 80's through the Rockies and got sucked into the Rio Grande. The BAPM would interest me more than other Prototype Meets because it's western oriented. I've always been a western fan.

Great video! The best thing you did was let the modelers narrate and tell the story, all you had to do was hold the camera.

There was a lot more, but yes, your point is accurate when it comes to letting the people tell their own stories!
