I felt like they're looking at upping all three other saiyans, including Broly. They had that brief back and forth with him and Whis there, and you know at some point Broly is going to be able to control his power, especially training with Goku, Vegeta and Whis. Its only a matter of time, IMO.

Bro, if Goku won you’d still say Goku and Vegeta would be the ones to beat Black Frieza. Gohan winning wouldn’t change or show the outcome of who will beat him in the end. Gohan is still behind Black Frieza and would need a training arc to catch up to him even if he beats Goku, and perhaps he could train against Whis/Beerus/Gogeta. Plenty of other chances to build up to Gohan defeating him that doesn’t require Goku being the ultimate benchmark. But anything could happen right now. I’m betting on a team fight vs Frieza, to be honest.

I honestly think gohan is also a LSSJ like Broly but bc he’s half human, his power was more tamed and could follow the conventional transformations of ssj, ssj2 instead of going straight to hikari for example. Bc he’s a hybrid LSSJ, it would make sense why he was always so powerful when his rage took over or why he’s so easily capable of closing massive power gaps with his potential. I mean broly is portrayed to be a beast like saiyan containing his ozaru powers in a humanoid form, so why couldn’t it be similarly the case for gohan? If I recall well, he’s the last and only half saiyan to have been born with a tail. Perhaps the writers didn’t think any of it at the time, but now seeing how things have unexpectedly developed in terms of gohan’s sudden power up, I don’t think it would be too far of a stretch linking why he, as a baby, had a tail when goten coming from the exact same parents didn’t if it wasn’t for some sort of x factor of gohan being genetically predisposed of having some sort of LSSJ traits

I am a Gohan fan myself, and although I like Gohan being the strong, cool character that he is at times, I am ok with him staying with his family and if that makes him weaker, then so be it. I'm fine with that because that really feels like it fits with his character. Gohan is just way too human. Gohan was born on earth and raised in human customs and things like that, so he will definitely be more human, and it shows that when he is portrayed as weaker and with his family, because that's what he wants. He wants to be with his family. He wants to be a dad and be there for, and with his daughter as she grows up, he wants things that most other people want. It's like that little instance in the Goku Black Arc where Future Trunks met Adult Gohan and his family and he was sad that he didn't have that, because as cool as they are in fighting and gaining more and more power and just being cool and bad-@$$ you have to remember that they are still people. They have wants and desires and other things, because from their perspective, Gohan and Future Trunks, you always have to fight, you always have to struggle, you lose things and it's hard to just go on, they have losses and life is hard and they wish for their lives to get better. Looking at it that way and in that constantly fighting lifestyle there is barely any peace, if any, and you don't have time for yourself or your family, and you will have a lot of pressure on you and you will be struggling all of the time and so many things where you will feel overwhelmed, and you think about your family, and that things could be better and wishing that it wasn't this way and that things were different, having all this weight on your shoulders and just to a point where you can't be with your family and all of you cannot find really any real happiness if you're not there, and then it just gets to a point where you are overwhelmed and it feels like you want to quit, like you are sick and tired, you're tired of being sick, you are sick of being tired. That is what this would most likely do, maybe not everyone, but it is that way with Future Trunks and with Gohan, because of the pacifist that he is I feel like this is how he will be. That is why I am ok with Gohan being weaker and being with his family and things like that because that portrays his character very well because it shows that he is different from Goku and Vegeta and he is a more down to Earth, human, individual, who is just living and trying to achieve happiness and other things in life, and that is what makes him a great character in my opinion, not his power, just his personality and characteristics of a good man who shows that even though he has the power he is still a person, not a warrior per say. It gives you that human, peace loving side to Dragon Ball with Gohan. That is what I think about Gohan. Now I am definitely not pushing for Gohan to be weak. Would I want Gohan to power up and become stronger? Absolutely! I love Gohan. I love it when he is strong and bad-@$$. I would want Gohan to balance work and family and training so that he can become strong and relevant again. However, what I am saying is that if they do make him weaker again, then I wouldn't be upset about that because, to me, it is all still Gohan. Whether they make him stronger or weaker, I will be ok with it. Tell me what you all think.

I read your whole comment, but you should split it into separate sections or paragraphs to make it easier to read. I am personally fine with gohan not being the strongest and being more of a family man. However, the problem with gohan in superhero is not only was he not training but he also was neglecting his own daughter and wife. Piccolo was literally spending more time and doing more with pan than gohan was. So, gohan was not only being lazy and not training, but he also was not taking care of his own family and instead spending the time caught up in his own work. So, he was being a terrible fighter and father. He even admits this at the end of the superhero arc. So, hopefully, now his character shifts a bit, which already seems to be the case, and he continues to train while also being a good father since he can do both. I agree that there is no need for him to be the strongest but he should at least remain capable and keep in shape just in case earth or hos family is every threatened so hopefully his current character shift continues.

It just isn't Toriyama who eluded to Gohan being the strongest, you had different promotional material saying it around the movies premiere, in universe statements eluding to Gohan strength and potential, and just what last chapter showed, Vegeta and Goku were amazed and blown away by Gohan just from him powering up. They wouldn't have hyped up Gohan Beast all this time just for him to lose to UI like nothing.

I like the idea that Goku is training Gohan. I think it could even be a combination of when they trained the room of spirit and time and when they had that quick sparing match before the TOP where it last alot longer this time around where Goku is giving his all but still holding back a tad in pure Goku fashion and then at the end he finds his opening to end it and they're both satisfied and Goku is proud of his son for what he has achieved, then that leads into maybe a fight between Gohan vs Broly. Who knows? So looking forward to this next chapter.

I mentioned in a different video, but I believe the RR army has thoroughly documented the process on how cell max/the androids were made. They could spin it as they were missing some key elements(processes/code/etc) to make the androids, but after Dr. Hedo pulled it off again, they now just need to get to production again. They could even pull another "super genius" out of a hat as a sort of antagonist for Dr. Hedo & Bulma to help the RR army. This could very well lead into an android 21 arc. Them being on Berus's planet recording the fights could provide more updated data for this new android to allow it to be on par with even the gods and possibly get some dna from the gods somehow during these fights or even learning the fusion dance for 2 androids to use.

Maybe they're building to a huge fight against Black Frieza? Basically a callback to the first time they fought him and had to gradually wear him down by weight of numbers. It'd give all the main cast a chance to shine, tug on those nostalgia strings, and stop any of the cast getting stronger than Beerus. Maybe Vegeta could even land the killing blow against someone who has messed with his life since it began? Wouldn't count on the last bit, but it'd be a nice way to finally end Frieza.

I can see why Goku would win based on outsmarting Gohan but the thing is that in this series, characters can be strong enough to even overpower tactics. Like Goku with Jiren or Goku with Broly. So just bc Goku has more experience doesnt mean he will win. I think they will interrupt the fight but if they finish the fight i can see Gohan winning.

Moving forward, as we are going into the Black Frieza territory, I am excited about that, but I would like to see some different things, like different techniques and different villains, like is there is a technique that an opponent can use that makes them intangible and able to phase through solid matter like Kitty Pryde from the X-Men or Vision from Marvel, to where it would counter Goku's Mastered Ultra Instinct where even if the opponent cannot touch Goku with Ultra Instinct, Goku cannot touch them either and all they have to do is wait out Goku until he can't use Ultra Instinct anymore. And as for different, I want to see villain that are not powerful but still dangerous, like Elec was a disappointment because he was built up to be a puppet master who manipulates things behind the scenes and he was plotting and doing things where it seemed like he always had something up his sleeve and was able to indirectly hurt the heroes, but no. So, aside from that, maybe they can use villain characters like the creators of OG-7-3, I am not saying bring 7-3 back, I am just talking about his creators, who can be a threat with their intelligence and what they can build like Dr. Hedo, and more things like Dr. Myuu and others like that. I wish to see something interesting like... imagine this storyline: There is this smart and advanced alien race that takes Frieza's DNA without him knowing, and they plan to use it to make an army for Frieza clone that they can control to overthrow Frieza and rule the universe, and they use the DNA and they are growing another Frieza in a lab, but they also make modifications to it, adding in thing, like maybe their DNA, DNA from other races, Saiyan DNA if you want to get crazy, or Yardrat DNA, and the clone would be Cooler, as a way to make him canon, and his modifications are why he had seemingly more potential than Frieza and different forms than Frieza, and with his modifications he also has different powers and techniques, like the techniques of the Yardrats, like he was using instant transmission in the movie Cooler Returns when Metal Cooler was fighting Super Saiyan Goku on New Namek, maybe he could turn invisible with the DNA and abilities of the invisible races, maybe he can even have an ability to generate metal skin kind of like Colossum from the X-Men, to become Metal Cooler or Golden Metal Cooler or those things, and Cooler would be extremely intelligent knowing about technology and other things, and the scientists succeed in making an army of them and they all have a hive mind so that they can coordinate, and either Frieza finds out and dispatches the scientists and rather than killing Cooler he takes him in as his "brother," so that he can help him fight and take down Goku and Vegeta, like in Dragon Ball Super Broly where Frieza admits that he needs help to take down Goku and Vegeta, and Frieza and Cooler have a kind of Superman and Superboy Young Justice type of relationship, or the other option is that Cooler being as strong and intelligent as he is rebells against his creators finding out that they would enslave him or whatever and he takes over the operation making clones of himself and making technology and things like that and we could get that Metal Cooler whole thing with an army of him on advanced ships with advanced weaponry and robots and different things like that just like in Cooler Returns. Something like that which could make Cooler canon and can also build him up to be a big threat to the heroes. Tell me what you all think.

People keep saying it's an ass pull. This has been part of Gohan's character since he was first introduced and injured Raditz, when he took down frieza with over 1 mil power, when he turned ss in the time chamber and ss2 against cell and defeated him, when he fought against super buu with his potential unlocked and make him look like child's play. Nothing has changed. Goku and Vegeta can work as hard as they want but will never have the natural affinity and power boosts Gohan has. He is genetically gifted, similar to Broly. If he actually loved fighting, he'd probably be much more powerful than he is. Just enjoy the story. Now it's finally getting interesting.

I think a dope way to end the fight is by having goku and Gohan fight be so exciting for vegeta and broly being that they’re Sayians and they join in. Everyone shows their power but broly loses control again. But now that Gohan is there he will show broly how to control his power more. I think this is all pretty clearly leading to Daima. Gohan & Broly off world or RST fighting/training to control Broly’s rage. Meanwhile Red Ribbon exposes the fighters and makes a deal with the Daima shadowy figures to have all “goku and comrades *on earth* be de aged”. I actually think they are putting out End of Z DLC now to cash in before it gets retconned. The only way it doesn’t is if somehow once the cast returns to their adult forms their memories have been wiped. black frieza could be a setup for post end of Z with Uub ( or again EoZ is just retconned).

Carmine and 15 are loose cannons when it comes to information about dr. Hedo. Imagine Frieza learning of someone capable of creating monsters that rival Broly. The "unmasking" of the saiyamen opens up galactic hero activity, a sudo-gt adventure. Diama is already bringing back the "make them kids again" concept. You would think with Trunks seeing how strong future Trunks is that would be his motivation to catch up or become stronger then his future counterpart. Prediction: Tournament of Power 2 will allow for either mixed universe teams or involve the other universes. Freiza will show up near the end with some of the gods from the other universes that we haven’t seen with the goal of taking out Beerus and the gods from the original tournament.

I have an idea for Trunks and Goten. Being in a world with so many other power house warriors, I don't see a scenario where either ever get put into a situation where they are forced through emotion to reach power levels near the rest of the cast. What if they focus on fusion, Goten trains to be the best defensive fighter, with no strong counter attack, Trunks trains to be the best aggressive fighter he can, with no defense. My idea is that they perfect the fusion to a point they don't have to use the dance, no timer, no cool down, and they are so close mentally they can do instant fusion making Gotenks one of the strongest fighters. It would have to come from a lot of training from them knowing they individually would never reach the power of the other warriors. If they did another TOP it would make it easy to add them.
