This is my favorite song from Fleetwood Mac--Beautiful! My cousin that committed suicide gave me this album. He was only 19 years old, but he knew good music, a very meaningful song and a nice nice memory of Bobby. We were very close, and it hurt like hell to lose him. Thank you, Stevie!! XOXOXOXO

One of a kind period...Never be another Stevie The dreamer ,storyteller The voice The brains to put it all together and go through hardships and come out wiser. The new things she's writing will be awesome too. I want her out there doing what she wants to do at 80. I'll be at that concert as well

And they wonder why people pirate music! This, probably the best Stevie Nicks concert in her long history, is unavailable as a commercial DVD as far as I can find out. WHY ? ? ? ? ?
@SkeeterNYC8 жыл бұрын
'Tusk', in my opinion, is FM's best album, Stevie is obviously very into this performance, and this is one of the stand out tracks from said recording.
@redletter20088 жыл бұрын
I agree. Perhaps the best Nicks song from the Tusk album. I think her Tusk songs were the best she's ever put on record. Her pinnacle as a writer IMO.

I love tusk. Not very fond of Lindsey songs, though.
@MarkStClair17 жыл бұрын
It is ironic indeed that Tusk is regarded as Lindsey Buckinghams magnum opus when in fact his compositions were the weak link in the body of work where as Christine & Stevie's only continued to cement their status as legends of their genre.
@diverdownaaron7 жыл бұрын
I agree with Mr. Stevens. Christine's and Stevie's songs are the only things worth listening to on Tusk. "Beautiful Child" brings me to tears almost every time. You know, there are thousands of great guitar players. You can't swing a dead cat in L.A. without hitting a perfectly adequate guitarist. But, there is only one Stevie Nicks.
@Phoenix-ub5vs7 жыл бұрын
Stevie is one of a kind. And I don't like Lindsey's songs on Tusk either

Stevie she was singing and dancing and performing at 6 years old and is sill performing at 66, a true natural, she has everything Singer/ Songwriter, the Rocky raspy voice, stage performance, always presents her self to the audience with style AND she also is so Beautiful. Stevie my only Queen of Rock past, present and future no one comes remotely close and she can never lose her crown.

She Loves Him Still Stevie Nicks (Mark Knopfer) Maz

I love this song and am so glad she performed it. What does it mean? Who is it about ?
@SamuelOrru2 жыл бұрын
It's about her affair with Derek Taylor, who used to be one of The Beatles' road managers. Their relationship didn't last very long since he was married and this song is a retelling of their last night together.

So ridiculously tossed, especially by many women honestly. Women and men slut-shame her for succeeding and having healthy and unhealthy relationships in the rock world. Relationships men were praised for their prowess. She just sought love and equality. I played this song often in my sophomore/junior year in college.
