He’s never gonna hit 500kgs he missed his absolute peak 3 or 4 years ago where I think he could’ve done it but he had no competition so he wasn’t pushed to his max & now with him being almost 31 don’t be shocked if the injuries start to pile up over the next few years

I think that Lasha will go for 500kg at the 2024 world championships, but not this Olympics.

I doubt that they will go for 500kg in this Olympics. Lasha is incredible and one of a kind, but since the injury, he's not lifting the weights. Based on his speech about patience and securing the gold first, I think they will try the 500kg in some competition after the olympics

Injuries don't go well with age. There are lucky people who manage to avoid them, but that's not common. Look at Shi, the man is only 30 but unfortunately he's a shadow of his former self and only took an injury to the lower back.

it was a great interview, i have seen him in backstage giving advice to the other lifter and congratulating them when they did a great performance, he doesn's scare to recognize greatness, but talking seriously, nobody believes that lasha can reach 500 anymore, he's closer of the retirement than anything
