I liked how in the book Edward points out they want him AND Alice, Edward said he saw Aro’s desire was them both at his side, the present and the future at his command…I wish they had pointed out edwards gifts were nearly as desirable as Alice’s and Aro was also VERY interested in seeing what Bella would bring to the table when turned since he couldn’t read her either…it’s probably the only real reason he allowed her to live previously

Alice can see the future and Bella is immune to all attacks from abilities wielded by other vampires and she can project her power on others and expand it. So far Bella has proven to be the most powerful shield to exist aro does have a shield by his side in the books but she is nowhere near as powerful as Bella. Bella’s shield abilities allow her to also have the most control over everything she does hence why she had a much easier time transforming into her vampire self and not struggle much with the blood.

The truth all vampires deliberately ignore because they are scared that without the Volturi there would be chaos.

@@FriggSaga That's just their allies though. Most of which died over a 1000 years ago. Not much about THEM. They seem to be physically superior. Able to run circles around the Cullens and the werewolves with no problem. Bella's shield would probably do nothing to that and even Edwards mind reading would probably be too slow to help in a fight. But I doubt that being faster and stronger would be enough to have kept them alive this long if other vampires with tracking and offensive abilities were hunting them. I suspect one or both of them has some kind of a subtle cloak or mind control ability. Hell, perhaps they make people procrastinators! Give everyone the feeling of "Eh, we'll deal with it some other day". Would fit the series ending... What We Do In The Shadows style post epilog ending: "Dammit Stefan, you did it again. Everyone went home." ""Was an accident, I got nervous."' "Would be nice if we could find a vampire who could make people go solve problems, instead of putting it off." I’m consistently shocked every time I revisit Breaking Dawn - Part 2 that we never see any of these new vampire covens get set up beforehand. That’s why it feels like they’re just making stuff up as they go along because they never set anything up outside of a film/book and each film/book never feels like it has the time to build the world or develop its larger mythology because half the story is just pointless BS between Bella, Ed & Jacob.

Aro wants not only Alice but Edward as well coz of Alice's ability to predict the future and Edward's ability to read minds but by the time He sees Bella's ability which is a Shield that negates any telepathy , electricity or other then he too wants her to be part of the coven. Aro only made the excuse for Renesmee's case just to have them both Alice and Edward to be in his coven in exchange for Renesmee's life but it didn't turned out as what he planned because of what Bella's awakened power has greatly turned the tide. He did not expect Bella's ability could match or negate the Twins deadly abilities the one who could inflict Pain and the other one some form of deadly mist/ smoke.

If wiki didnt lie then his ability is tracking but it's not so useful like james and demitri since his power need full focus and take time to know the location of his target but since it need a lot of focus and time. If his target is moving then he will never be able to catch up..one thing different of his tracking sense is that he can locate things other than living being unlike the other two (james , demitri) sorry bad english but i hope u understand
