Two things. My recent MRI shows arthritis from L4 down to the coccyx. Simultaneously, I hurt my lower back. The ortho surgeon explained that the injury occurred for not having a strong core. Where do I start please? I have also followed your lessons, with great success, for knee arthritis and how to go up and down the stairs. I have a bit of pain in my coccyx

Question about the first exercise, reverse crunches - when I do these (even the simplest form) I feel my upper back engage. Should it? Is this expected to some extent?

I changed every kneeling exercise in standing exercises. And the laying down exercises can be done in bed.

I also do the plank against the wall for now. It can be done on your kitchen sink, or on a chair, to make it more difficult, if you need it

That's a great question! If you can't get on your knees due to pain, here are some alternatives that may help: Beginner Planks: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5rUhYmGd9iosLM&ab_channel=WeShape Beginner Side Planks: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppi1hGuog751f5Y&ab_channel=WeShape If you can't get on the floor for the heel touches, then try doing that movement while lying down in bed or on a couch instead.
