I think sunscreen is much more popular now, but let me say that wearing it daily from an early age will greatly benefit you in the long run. I have oily, breakout prone skin and my skin can be easily sensitized. My two holy grail sunscreens this year have been the Black Girl Sunscreen Kids SPF 50 and the Eucerin Age Defense SPF 50. I am not a fan of zinc oxide sunscreens, they irritate my skin and always leave a whitecast (I have a Fitzpatrick type 3-4 skintone). And even with my oily skin, I prefer a more moisturizing sunscreen over an oil control because those oil control ones always feel so drying.

I actually went straight to "best sunscreens for ACTIVE skin" and was happy to hear about what's recommended for people who are outdoors a lot as I live in the caribbean and it is "summer" hot and humid all year long and the UV ray index gets extremely high and we can't always avoid being outdoors during the peak UV ray index times! Super helpful!

Problem in this country (usa) is 99.9% of the sunscreens available are greasy as hell...even if they state they are for oily skin plus price is outrageous to use on whole body and who wants to reapply every two hours on dirty sweaty skin not me. Wish some one would invent a sunscreen you put on once and done for the day. Maybe just maybe more people would be incline to use it.

Doctorly, I am very surprised seeing Biossance Sunscreen being recommended without a warning. There are hundreds of reviews online about that sunscreen with people who never had any issues to any face products before, having a horrible reaction, rash, redness, itchiness, inflamation, etc. that will last for days before it gets better with Biossance sunscreen. I am one of those people and it took me weeks to realize it was the sunscreen causing all these issues and never before did I have any issues with anything else in my life. It gets worse when you go outside and the sun hits the face with that sunscreen on.

Can you make a video debunking common myths about sunscreen, how do dark skin tones respond to UV, how much and how often do you need to apply and sunscreen and why, where do you need to apply sunscreen eg eyelids/lips. I would LOVE to learn more evidence based information on the importance of sun protection, because I think we talk a lot about the science of other skincare steps but don't get to learn about sun protection! I live in Australia where we have some of the strongest sun and strictest controls on sunscreen in the world! As a result, we have very high quality sunscreen! However, many companies don't bother to go through the hoops of getting their products tested and approved for sale in Australia and we don't have many of the products available that I see recommended. I would love to learn more about how the different technologies work and which ones have been tested the most!
