I do eat a lot, often even over 3000 calories. I know everyone is always skeptic of that but before anyone says "but you would be gaining weight if you were eating that much" - look at my videos from a few years ago & now; I have gained weight/muscle! We are about to start creating a lot more nutrition content - recipes & recipe videos, vlogs & all kinds of good stuff. Stay tuned :)

Great video. It is refreshing to hear someone cutting out the BS from the mainstream fitness/media industry. It is great that you cover stress, sleep, and types of foods (nutrient dense), not just counting macros. Not many fitness "experts" ever touch on those subjects.You guys are phenomenal, and so is your channel. Keep doing what you are doing. Best on KZbin.

I also like the fact that you don't push for unrealistic goals for people. Thank you for giving real advice.

I don't necessarily need those infos anymore since I am quite informed by now, but I find it awesome for you to do those educational videos, because many people exercise so hard but still have a quite crappy diet. Also I just want to leave this here - You are the best youtubers there are. I've been exercising with you since I can remember and I struggled alot with eating disorders and depression. You guys are one of the few people I enjoy watching, because many workout videos on youtube are so aggressive. Just screaming at the camera and no brakes. You guys actually show when you have to use less weight or need a rest and this is much more motivating than seeing a ripped animal shouting at me to move my butt. Thanks to you two I am now going to study nutrition and sports so I can be helping others like you do. Keep up the good work :)

I've left comments a million times but I can't say it enough: you guys have been a huge part of my life for 4 years now. I don't think I've ever been in better shape and all I do are your videos (and some yoga, cause I need to relax). I've been to gym classes, done a lot of different videos, but I stick with you. You have helped me get through break ups, the death of my dad, bad times at work... you have been an inspiration, motivation and company for me. I recommend your videos to anyone and everyone who will listen. Thank you!! I wish you the best always, you deserve it.

SUGAR is the number one culprit of belly fat. Excess processed sugar overwhelms the insulin and is stored for safe keeping in the mid-rift -- this is known as 'visceral fat' and is a direct component of metabolic syndrome. Kelly, you guys are such an inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing your experience and creative workouts with us.

When I first started with fitness blender I was 150cm and weighed 65kg. I've been with them for a year so far and have seen great results! Paired with a healthy diet and lifestyle, I am now down to 52kg at 157cm. I love fitness blender and would definitely recommend it to all of my friends. The workouts are so fun but still rather challenging, which leaves me feeling so good at the end of every workout! I love the person I've become thanks to fitness blenders workout. Not only have I become a healthier person, but I've become a much happier person as well! I am now 14 years old and can honestly say that these workouts aren't just for adults. Teens can give it a go too!

Thank you all for all that you do! i have been using you all for over three years off and on. I have ALWAYS loved your stance on fit looking different on everyone. I may not have the biggest butt or the flattest stomach, or skinniest arms; but what weight I have lost and how I look I am happy with it. Not one hundred percent happy with, but I see the results and I love the results. Do I wake up and think every day how excited I am to workout? No, i don't, but I ALWAYS am proud of what I have achieved, and I am always hoping to do more. I have grown in my knowledge of how I can prepare a schedule of workout and incorporate into my life. I have lost 30 plus lbs and gained so much muscle. My body looks completely different. My posture has improved, my endurance. I recommend you all to anyone who will listen. I hope to soon change my diet even more so I can achieve all my goals. I hope to completely improve my bad posture(it's really bad) and gain more back and tricep muscles as that is my most problematic areas. I appreciate all you do and I wanted you all to know that. i don't comment too often, but I felt compelled to do so today. I hope you all see all of our positive comments and know just how many people you help! Thank you Kelli and Daniel and anyone else behind the scense of Fitness Blender!

Kelli and Daniel, you are two very special people. You have done so much to help so many and asked for nothing in return. I wish there were more people like you two, not just in the fitness world but in every walk of life. You have set the standard very high as an example of how a business can be extremely successful. As with everyone else, I am beyond grateful for your free work-outs, encouragement and most important, your humanity! Because you are so good at what you do, I have purchased five of your programs. I am 58 years old and I work out every day with Fitness Blender. I found your site when I was vacationing in St. Thomas the summer of 2015. I had brought by T25 DVDs on my trip so I could work out while I was away. The DVD player did not work at condo where I was staying so I started seraching the internet and found you. Ever since that time, I have been doing your work-outs exclusively. I greatly appreciate the variety you offer. It keeps the work-outs interesting and challenging. You truly care about your viewers and our health. Blessings will be too bountiful for you two to count! I wish all the best for your business and your family!

Kelly it would be great if you talk once about contraceptives and exercises, do they affect to your workout outs? which is the best for the women that like to workout? You know some things like that it will be a great topic. I am 27 years old I have a child and I stared use contraceptives but I want to keep working out. I love FB 😘😘😘
@kaytee789
@kaytee789 7 жыл бұрын
Hello there, I might not be FB, but for what I've studied is that contraceptives shouldn't interfere with your active life. There are no specific workouts nor are workouts for people who are on BC. Tbh, If you are really active, sometimes it could happen that you have delayed periods or missed periods, when you are too active but because you are on BC, that won't happend. I think you should choose any workout you enjoy, FB have tons of workout and its worth trying them, they are so effective and you'll see your progress (whether it's endurance, strength, flexibility, agility, fat burn, muscle gain, etc)

I've had both the IUD with no hormones in the past, and now I have the one with hormones (Mirena). I've started to work out a lot more these days, and I can tell you that there has been NO problems whatsoever in that department. I don't even get a period anymore! That may seem weird to some (just like it did to me at first), but I asked my doctor about it, tried it out, and I love it! Plus, it saves you money on tampons. The copper IUD made my periods longer and heavier, and it also made my cramps worse. I would say to give the Mirena IUD a try. After it's in, you don't have to worry about getting pregnant for years! Just speaking from experience.

Grew up watching Jack Lelane with my mom. I also, like many women have struggled with comparing myself to those perfect images coming from all forms of media. Since I have discovered Jesus loves me extravagantly I now workout, eat right and rest in who I am and I desire to be fit, strong and healthy for another 70 years :) Your fitness program is the only one that is not trying to sell sex and you both are genuinely going through the routines with us! A lot of people talk about the importance of strength training but regardless of how many lunges, pushups and crunches I did I never got fully toned legs, arms and abs. And a lot of people say steady state cardio doesn't help with getting toned and losing those last few pounds. I've always steered away from HIIT because it is intense and I feel uncomfortable and out of breath whenever I do them. I'll do LISS, body-weight strength training and HIIT from now on as I feel like HIIT can help me a lot (I can modify things as well). I am not very overweight but I have some excess fat on my body that steady-state cardio and strength training did not get rid of. I already eat quite clean and healthy but I do give into cravings here and there but that's fine. I'm hoping for the best now.

I had a lot of luck doing an eliminatiom diet a couple years ago, you don't count calories or anything. you just remove things that are common allergies and/or processed. I found that I was minimally sensitive to gluten and borderline allergic to dairy. Without those things in my diet(and working out of course) I've lost weight and started feeling much much better.

When you're sick or in pain, you should allow your body to rest. Continue to eat healthily and hydrate plenty. During your period, do what feels tolerable for you... It's a time when you could be losing iron so you may not have as much energy. Like Ines J. said, pilates and yoga are great strength-building routines that require low impact and energy. I'm enjoying FitnessBlender's Pilates during my pregnancy... I feel the burn, and the ache the next day! :)

I just LOVE these vlogs from Fitness Blender. Honest, genuine and understated. Fitness Blender have helped me achieve so much, and weight loss, believe it or not, is not top of the list! Changing my lifestyle, sticking to a hard routine and maintaining goals is HARD and takes a lot of mind work! Keep the vlogs coming, please! I'm a huge admirer.

I would love tips on building a healthy relationship with food. I try to eat healthy and whole but I gain weight. right now I am on a caloric deficit until I reach a healthy weight, then I would like to stop tracking calories and become an "intuitive eater" but I'm scared I'm going to go right back to over eating.

Im so happy you mentioned pasta and rice, because in these years i heard everything against carbs. I follow a healty diet (im italian and my diet is basically mediterranean style) made by a dietist and it includes pasta or rice once a day 6 days on 7. Its almost 4 years that i follow this diet and im feeling really good. Maybe im not skinny but im normo-weight and health. 👍🏻 now its 8 month that i follow your routines and my body is strenght and firm. Thanks !

Hi, I would like to have your input on protein powder, I train with you guys I do Hiit/strength/cardio I eat clean, I cook my meals everyday lots of vegetables and grains basically whole foods nithing processed but I've been seeing a lot of talk about protein powder on the net, how it's important to build and repair lean muscle and improve stamina and satiety and how everyone who works out should include it in their diet. Is that true? Should I start taking protein it? I trust you guys you never BS us.

La-i Id in the video she says that's not necessary. Protein powder isn't really necessary, just eat health and try to incorporate protein in your meals.
@sarah06324
@sarah06324 7 жыл бұрын
La-i Id I think it's ok to consume protein/whey powder if you wish, just make sure you check the ingredients. Personally I drink whey protein on days where my protein intake hasn't been that high and I've exercised intensely. I like to add it to my smoothies which is my favorite way to drink it. If you feel like you're getting enough protein through your diet though, then you should be good.

I love your videos and honest advice. I have some advice in return. Please don't cross your legs. Look up actual medical research on this but I've been told by many health professionals in my family to never do it as you're putting pressure on your circulation which can do potential long term damage to your nerves as you get older. Love you both and thank you for everything. Since having my daughter your channel as been incredibly accessible to get back into fitness at home. Thank you.

jzouzie1 I would skip the protein powder, you can get plenty of protein from sources like beans, lagunes, potatoes, rice, nuts, and seeds and if you are not vegan or vegetarian then also meat, diary etc but i don't recommend it. The best protein is the one that comes from real food.

Low intensity cardio is great for losing belly fat because it targets fat more as opposed to high intensity cardio burning fat as well as muscle.

Please look into diastasis as a possibility for post-pregnancy! It's so critical to pull the belly muscles back together before focusing on fat loss.
@karatepop
@karatepop 7 жыл бұрын
The general, healthy view, is nine months on, nine months off. The hard thing post-pregnancy is your abdominals being SO weak. Completely wiped out. Obviously, listening to what she's saying - healthy food, regular exercise, but for me pilates was the best for the first six months. It's gentle, it works on endurance, and just strengthening your entire body, but especially your core. It makes it easier to get back into working out later on when you're ready. You made a human being! That's badass. Be kind and patient with yourself! (But also make sure you don't have diastasis recti first, because that requires different attention and care.)

Thank you, you're the best! :D I've lost 50 pounds thanks to your routines. What i love is that you really insist on the fact that you don't need to be hard on yourself and turn your diet into a nightmare to lose weight... So i think ur vlogging project is needed... to talk about misconceptions people may have assimilated during all these years of ignorance...

Thanks for this great message! My biggest tip would be to watch what you are drinking. Sodas, coffee, lattes and even juice. You get absolutely nothing from them except unnecessary pounds and inches. Eating healthy and working out are key but for some people who feel like it's to hard or they have to much extra weight they don't even know how to start working out try cutting these drinks out of your life. If you are holding extra weight this will help immensely. Maybe if you can jump start losing a few pounds it will motivate you and make it easier to actually work out. The other changes can come a lot easier if you see some immediate progress.

Loki is just the most adorable pup ever! The way he looks at you so lovingly, bless him! I really appreciate your honesty, you guys are always upfront with us. I've been using your workouts for nearly 3 years now and I honestly don't think I'll ever stop! I've learnt so much more from you guys compared to when I was going to the gym! There have been times where I've had no internet so haven't been able to access your website but because your videos' are so educational, over time I've learnt all these different combination moves so I can write up my own little workout for that day on a bit of paper or using the notes on my phone. I'll admit, I might not always be able to remember the exact names of each and every move haha but I know exactly how to do them and I know the correct form. It's crazy as well how much my balance and strength has improved over time along with general fitness. The simple things like changing the bed or bending down to sweep the floor were so much effort before! Thankyou thankyou, thankyou! I can't thank you enough! xxx

Kelli I am so inspired by you. Thanks for these videos, both the exercise and the vlogs, they are a joy. I had got to a point where I was feeling so unfit, unhealthy, heavy, sluggish and generally out of sync that I decided to create my own "bootcamp"for 2 weeks focusing on getting up early to exercise, walking more, watching my food ( takeaways were getting out of hand) and trying to get more water and more sleep. You videos are perfect, as I can mix and match every day. I'm hoping for good results as I'm focused and have a positive attitude, and I feel I have you as my mentor. Now I'm looking forward to exercise and not dreading it, and hope after my first two weeks, I can feel and hopefully maybe see the difference and will continue with your exercises to reach my goal of losing 15 - 20 lbs and feeling fitter and healthier.
