•Strength training - muscle burns calories at rest •HIIT - no more than 3x a week •healthy diet - 3 meals, 2-3 snacks, Whole Foods, cut the junk •WATER - clear urine •keep straight posture - pull in core, shoulders back •stress & sleep patterns - low stress & 8 hours a sleep •DONT COMPARE YOURSELF- fit looks different on everyone :) Thank you!

Great video. It is refreshing to hear someone cutting out the BS from the mainstream fitness/media industry. It is great that you cover stress, sleep, and types of foods (nutrient dense), not just counting macros. Not many fitness "experts" ever touch on those subjects.You guys are phenomenal, and so is your channel. Keep doing what you are doing. Best on KZbin.

SUGAR is the number one culprit of belly fat. Excess processed sugar overwhelms the insulin and is stored for safe keeping in the mid-rift -- this is known as 'visceral fat' and is a direct component of metabolic syndrome. Kelli and Daniel, you are two very special people. You have done so much to help so many and asked for nothing in return. I wish there were more people like you two, not just in the fitness world but in every walk of life. You have set the standard very high as an example of how a business can be extremely successful. As with everyone else, I am beyond grateful for your free work-outs, encouragement and most important, your humanity! Because you are so good at what you do, I have purchased five of your programs. I am 58 years old and I work out every day with Fitness Blender. I found your site when I was vacationing in St. Thomas the summer of 2015. I had brought by T25 DVDs on my trip so I could work out while I was away. The DVD player did not work at condo where I was staying so I started seraching the internet and found you. Ever since that time, I have been doing your work-outs exclusively. I greatly appreciate the variety you offer. It keeps the work-outs interesting and challenging. You truly care about your viewers and our health. Blessings will be too bountiful for you two to count! I wish all the best for your business and your family!

When I first started with fitness blender I was 150cm and weighed 65kg. I've been with them for a year so far and have seen great results! Paired with a healthy diet and lifestyle, I am now down to 52kg at 157cm. I love fitness blender and would definitely recommend it to all of my friends. The workouts are so fun but still rather challenging, which leaves me feeling so good at the end of every workout! I love the person I've become thanks to fitness blenders workout. Not only have I become a healthier person, but I've become a much happier person as well! I am now 14 years old and can honestly say that these workouts aren't just for adults. Teens can give it a go too!

I don't necessarily need those infos anymore since I am quite informed by now, but I find it awesome for you to do those educational videos, because many people exercise so hard but still have a quite crappy diet. Also I just want to leave this here - You are the best youtubers there are. I've been exercising with you since I can remember and I struggled alot with eating disorders and depression. You guys are one of the few people I enjoy watching, because many workout videos on youtube are so aggressive. Just screaming at the camera and no brakes. You guys actually show when you have to use less weight or need a rest and this is much more motivating than seeing a ripped animal shouting at me to move my butt. Thanks to you two I am now going to study nutrition and sports so I can be helping others like you do. Keep up the good work :)

@vildekm7 жыл бұрын
their yoga/pilates videos are nice! not too straining for when you're in pain/low energy
@ashleygwynn5167 жыл бұрын
When you're sick or in pain, you should allow your body to rest. Continue to eat healthily and hydrate plenty. During your period, do what feels tolerable for you... It's a time when you could be losing iron so you may not have as much energy. Like Ines J. said, pilates and yoga are great strength-building routines that require low impact and energy. I'm enjoying FitnessBlender's Pilates during my pregnancy... I feel the burn, and the ache the next day! :)

A lot of people talk about the importance of strength training but regardless of how many lunges, pushups and crunches I did I never got fully toned legs, arms and abs. And a lot of people say steady state cardio doesn't help with getting toned and losing those last few pounds. I've always steered away from HIIT because it is intense and I feel uncomfortable and out of breath whenever I do them. I'll do LISS, body-weight strength training and HIIT from now on as I feel like HIIT can help me a lot (I can modify things as well). I am not very overweight but I have some excess fat on my body that steady-state cardio and strength training did not get rid of. I already eat quite clean and healthy but I do give into cravings here and there but that's fine. I'm hoping for the best now.

Kelly it would be great if you talk once about contraceptives and exercises, do they affect to your workout outs? which is the best for the women that like to workout? You know some things like that it will be a great topic. I am 27 years old I have a child and I stared use contraceptives but I want to keep working out. I love FB 😘😘😘
@kaytee7897 жыл бұрын
Hello there, I might not be FB, but for what I've studied is that contraceptives shouldn't interfere with your active life. There are no specific workouts nor are workouts for people who are on BC. Tbh, If you are really active, sometimes it could happen that you have delayed periods or missed periods, when you are too active but because you are on BC, that won't happend. I think you should choose any workout you enjoy, FB have tons of workout and its worth trying them, they are so effective and you'll see your progress (whether it's endurance, strength, flexibility, agility, fat burn, muscle gain, etc)
@mllelunatic7 жыл бұрын
Aileen Mancia I am not a doctor but from my personal experience the best contraceptive that doesn't interfere with your natural body functionning is one with no hormones so the copper IUD is really good :)
@marcheline7177 жыл бұрын
Aileen Mancia I highly recommend the book "Taking charge of your fertility" by Toni Weschler and the YT channel TheFemmeHead. :)
@santanabartholomew77227 жыл бұрын
I've had both the IUD with no hormones in the past, and now I have the one with hormones (Mirena). I've started to work out a lot more these days, and I can tell you that there has been NO problems whatsoever in that department. I don't even get a period anymore! That may seem weird to some (just like it did to me at first), but I asked my doctor about it, tried it out, and I love it! Plus, it saves you money on tampons. The copper IUD made my periods longer and heavier, and it also made my cramps worse. I would say to give the Mirena IUD a try. After it's in, you don't have to worry about getting pregnant for years! Just speaking from experience.

Thank you all for all that you do! i have been using you all for over three years off and on. I have ALWAYS loved your stance on fit looking different on everyone. I may not have the biggest butt or the flattest stomach, or skinniest arms; but what weight I have lost and how I look I am happy with it. Not one hundred percent happy with, but I see the results and I love the results. Do I wake up and think every day how excited I am to workout? No, i don't, but I ALWAYS am proud of what I have achieved, and I am always hoping to do more. I have grown in my knowledge of how I can prepare a schedule of workout and incorporate into my life. I have lost 30 plus lbs and gained so much muscle. My body looks completely different. My posture has improved, my endurance. I recommend you all to anyone who will listen. I hope to soon change my diet even more so I can achieve all my goals. I hope to completely improve my bad posture(it's really bad) and gain more back and tricep muscles as that is my most problematic areas. I appreciate all you do and I wanted you all to know that. i don't comment too often, but I felt compelled to do so today. I hope you all see all of our positive comments and know just how many people you help! Thank you Kelli and Daniel and anyone else behind the scense of Fitness Blender!

Hi, I would like to have your input on protein powder, I train with you guys I do Hiit/strength/cardio I eat clean, I cook my meals everyday lots of vegetables and grains basically whole foods nithing processed but I've been seeing a lot of talk about protein powder on the net, how it's important to build and repair lean muscle and improve stamina and satiety and how everyone who works out should include it in their diet. Is that true? Should I start taking protein it? I trust you guys you never BS us.
@brioche81237 жыл бұрын
La-i Id in the video she says that's not necessary. Protein powder isn't really necessary, just eat health and try to incorporate protein in your meals.
@sarah063247 жыл бұрын
La-i Id I think it's ok to consume protein/whey powder if you wish, just make sure you check the ingredients. Personally I drink whey protein on days where my protein intake hasn't been that high and I've exercised intensely. I like to add it to my smoothies which is my favorite way to drink it. If you feel like you're getting enough protein through your diet though, then you should be good.

Please make a video about tips to get rid of loose skin, and I really appreciate your hard work I have told most of my relatives and friends about your channel and how it helps me always to work hard and achieve my fitness goals.

haifa salih the best you can do is tone your muscles but exercise won't tighten your skin. It all depends about how much elasticity your skin has to make it 'bounce back'

Kelli and Daniel! Thank you so much for Fitness Blender. I am someone who wanted to get fit and hate the gym, but didn't know the workouts to get after it at home/outside. You two have changed my health and mentality towards fitness and I appreciate you.

Can you please answer these? I always wanted you guys to talk about safety, like With the dumbbell pullover. The heavy dumbbell might break my face! Also wanted to ask, Why does my upper/lower back hurt while doing weighted squats?
@keilastokes99307 жыл бұрын
Red Ruby yes especially my lower bag
@carlymichele86797 жыл бұрын
Red Ruby your back hurts while doing squats usually because you're not keeping it straight. Try doing squats perpendicular to a mirror so you can watch and make sure your back is straight :)

Red Ruby your lifting with a heavy dumbbell. Also work on proper form first then use weights

I know you said that HIIT is the one way to loose (belly)fat, but I'm wondering why is low intensity cardio not that good for that? I'm curious, because I've heard that low intensity cardio is actually better for loosing fat. Thank you! :)

I've actually done the Whole 30 very recently, and have gotten really positive results because of it! I was cutting out junk food and soda, and it really helped my body and helped my self-discipline

Please look into diastasis as a possibility for post-pregnancy! It's so critical to pull the belly muscles back together before focusing on fat loss.
@karatepop7 жыл бұрын
The general, healthy view, is nine months on, nine months off. The hard thing post-pregnancy is your abdominals being SO weak. Completely wiped out. Obviously, listening to what she's saying - healthy food, regular exercise, but for me pilates was the best for the first six months. It's gentle, it works on endurance, and just strengthening your entire body, but especially your core. It makes it easier to get back into working out later on when you're ready. You made a human being! That's badass. Be kind and patient with yourself! (But also make sure you don't have diastasis recti first, because that requires different attention and care.)

I had a lot of luck doing an eliminatiom diet a couple years ago, you don't count calories or anything. you just remove things that are common allergies and/or processed. I found that I was minimally sensitive to gluten and borderline allergic to dairy. Without those things in my diet(and working out of course) I've lost weight and started feeling much much better.

Kelly, Is Protein Powder adding to belly fat because it is processed?? Is a clean diet a diet without Pea or Whey protein?? I can't seem to find answers on this. Thank you so very much for your help!!
@natalieswietoslawska37457 жыл бұрын
jzouzie1 I would skip the protein powder, you can get plenty of protein from sources like beans, lagunes, potatoes, rice, nuts, and seeds and if you are not vegan or vegetarian then also meat, diary etc but i don't recommend it. The best protein is the one that comes from real food.
@blondiez19817 жыл бұрын
I think you are right. Thank you so much for replying. I'm always confused by clean eating people who also drink protein shakes so I just want to get it right..!
@jessicasylvia40737 жыл бұрын
Thanks for this great message! My biggest tip would be to watch what you are drinking. Sodas, coffee, lattes and even juice. You get absolutely nothing from them except unnecessary pounds and inches. Eating healthy and working out are key but for some people who feel like it's to hard or they have to much extra weight they don't even know how to start working out try cutting these drinks out of your life. If you are holding extra weight this will help immensely. Maybe if you can jump start losing a few pounds it will motivate you and make it easier to actually work out. The other changes can come a lot easier if you see some immediate progress.

Kelli I am so inspired by you. Thanks for these videos, both the exercise and the vlogs, they are a joy. I had got to a point where I was feeling so unfit, unhealthy, heavy, sluggish and generally out of sync that I decided to create my own "bootcamp"for 2 weeks focusing on getting up early to exercise, walking more, watching my food ( takeaways were getting out of hand) and trying to get more water and more sleep. You videos are perfect, as I can mix and match every day. I'm hoping for good results as I'm focused and have a positive attitude, and I feel I have you as my mentor. Now I'm looking forward to exercise and not dreading it, and hope after my first two weeks, I can feel and hopefully maybe see the difference and will continue with your exercises to reach my goal of losing 15 - 20 lbs and feeling fitter and healthier.
