Disappointed where the Big Boy stopped, I believe it was ok for people that were up to walking from the lot to the overpass and looking down, but the best place was when it stopped at the yard at Tower Grove and Vandeventer some years ago. Why tell people it's coming and you can view it, but you're nowhere near it so you can feel the power of it idling? I drove to see it, but I couldn't make the walk and I wouldn't have liked the view. Maybe next time it will be in a better atop.

4006 is a static display in suburban St Louis, and to think when these were built most homes and businesses used coal for heat and power,now one historical piece has to be environmentally friendly, ridiculous.
