Big Seal Disrupts Rescue

The crew spots a seal with a bad entanglement. As Tony tries to catch it, another seal gets in the way! Luckily it was a short encounter, and she allows the rescues to continue with their work. Seal rescues showcase the effects of ocean pollution on marine animals. We have to find better ways to eliminate plastic rubbish from the ocean and prevent additional trash from entering it. 🦭

They are cute and sweet animals with no bad intentions. Think about it, living in the ocean, even so much more than a surfer, you have to be at peace with the ocean. The ocean is raw, pure, life giving power. It even has salt. We need to respect the oceans creatures.

Commendable focus and dedication to the mission shown on this rescue. Doesn't bear thinking about how it would feel to be trapped by such an entanglement. Terrible. This team's work is clearly important in its immediacy; deaths suffered are otherwise cruel. The bigger story should be to highlight the indisputable evidence of the devastating consequence of certain human behaviours.

Good Job! Sometimes there's a reaction to Hold On when something like this happens. I learned from working with horses to "Let It Go". Releasing all the pressure avoids a tug of war and an escalation of the fight.
