The Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comic is fantastic, and the story gets pretty dark. It's one of Tom King's best comics imo, so definitely worth reading. More strong casting here, too. Eve Ridley was great in 3 Body Problem - that girl can act! Kelly Macdonald and Garret Dillahunt are great, too.

'Woman of Tomorrow' is definitely worth the read if only for the art alone. It is gorgeous in its imagery. And the story is excellent as well. Tom King is a divisive writer due to his Batman run and the story 'Heroes in Crisis'. But with 'Woman of Tomorrow' he shows where his strength is and that is in exploring the core of a hero as well as the baggage and trauma they deal with. It shows Supergirl truly has a personality different from her cousin and with wounds that run deep in her, but always a spirit of hope driving her forward.

Woman of Tomorrow was my first comic after James Gunn announced the slate. It’s really great and now I’m into reading comics. Casting seems great for Ruthye, I’ve never been in the position where I’m seeing a comic adapted that I’ve already read. Read it!!

I'm not really sure why but I feel like the DCU. Specifically Superman is going to suprise alot of people in a good way. You can call it blind faith or whatever you feel you need to But I genuinely feel like the DCU will succeed and hearing everything is on schedule and seeing the castings it feels like DC finally has a plan

Thinking something will be great based on absolutely nothing is the very definition of "blind faith" nothing we know so far points to this being a masterpiece, but then again nothing we've seen, even the shoddy costuming exactly points to it being a disaster either Guess we'll just have to wait and see, but I suggest tempering your expectations, hyping something this hard will only lead to disappointment nomatter the outcome.

I think it's really important for the new DC shows and movies to all have different tones. Thus the humor in Peacemaker doesn't bother me. If Lanterns will balance things out with a mature tone. Remember not everything is made for everyone and you don't need to watch everything.

Is it crazy while i am excited for creature commandos, superman lanterns and supergirl, I want some kind of update on The Authority film given that is James Gunn passion project. So i am curious after peacemaker S2 is done will he divert his attention to that film and Superman promotion.

When you're making linchpin shows with no other creative outlet its imperative you don't that sole project overwhelmingly gross out Gonzo "humour" that will isolate your potential audiences, if peacemaker had say come in a period where DC was already established and there was a wealth of quality tv shows to offset the immature farcical humour what you said would make sense But as it stands there IS nothing else aside from the frankly superb Penguin show which isn't even connected to the mainline DCU, so before we ever get to see superman which we have no clue what it will be like or green lantern which SEEMS to be serious all we have is two back to back shitfests in monster squad and then peacemaker redux, two of the same rancid types of humour boxes with no respite.. is not a good formula for retaining fans or gaining new ones

There's a book I'm reading now, but I might shelve it to read Woman of Tomorrow. Meanwhile, once Penguin ends, we've got Dune Prophecy starting that next Sunday. It's not DC, but I'm curious to see the world of the two Dune films expanded. Plus, however Penguin ends, I'm sure we can all endlessly speculate how the show may or may not impact The Batman 2.

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is a great read. Interested to see how that will translate into live action. Peacemaker season 1 was okay I guess but I never get the urge to go back and watch any of it again. It's pretty much a one and done for me. Not super excited for season 2 but I will at least check out the first episode of two and see if I want to stick with it. Creature Commandos looks like it can be awesome so I'm on board for that. But overall, Superman and Lanterns are my most anticipated DCU projects right now.

Ya know there is something going on now in the DC universe that can be watched and that’s Superman and Lois. I’m not a fan of the CW content but I have enjoyed this show. This (the 4th season)is its last season and the budget was significantly cut back so there’s a lot less going on than the re has been the past 3 seasons but it’s still pretty damn good. Actually, if someone hasn’t seen it at all watching the first 3 seasons is highly recommend (by me lol) 1 & 3 being the best. We’re half way through the 4th and it started out great but has stepped backwards since. Looks like the final episodes will be we’re all the action is. Anyway, I’m also thrilled to see Lanterns, obviously The Superman movie should be dynamite and we have Creature Commandos. I’m looking forward to CC. It’s just that Marvel has tons coming between the Agatha show that just finished and everything coming in 2025 the DC universe almost feels forgotten. We’ll have to be patient. When will peacemaker come out ? I liked Peacemaker but agree, the humor was over the top and became unenjoyable. It has to get cleaned up a bit to be considered a real show in the DCU

@@OurMovieNews Honestly, it feels a bit jarring compared to the video’s chill tone. The music also sounds kind of generic (like those clapping and thumping ad music, lol), which I’m personally not a fan of. I don’t mean to be rude-just sharing my thoughts. It was good enough for a rookie channel but now that it's slowly getting popular, you could use one that would fit the tone. Good luck!❤

my issue with creature commandos is that I'm sort of sick of seeing the same story over and over again, this group of criminals the government is turning into a team, the two suicide squad movies, the game, peacemaker and now this, it's become extremely repetitive, I'm sick of this premise being explained over and over, like can it just be done once and then we move on from it, could they have just stuck with one group, one story line, done a few movies of that, then it's over,
