Every day I get so many emails and comments asking why you can’t locate the music I use or find it using Shazam. I purchase music licenses for almost all the music you hear in my videos. I buy them them from various royalty-free production music sites and most of the time they don’t list the performer because it’s music made only for film productions with an audio watermark throughout the entire track, unless you purchase the single-use license for $50-100 per track. I use a lot of opera so often I’ll reference the opera but I won’t be able to direct you to a recording of that specific performance that you could stream or buy on iTunes or Spotify. Hope that clears things up and thank you for appreciating quality music.

Great idea ! In Serbia couple of female lawyers geathered to help women with the similar issues during the birth. What you describe here Kylie is violence and abuse, so definitely some lawyer should be involved. Very primitive hospital culture and very downputting, I feel so sorry for all the women who were in the situation to experience this kind of attitude. The problem is as much as in Serbia to change the conservative and abusive hospital culture that has been allowed to stay for decades. When you soon get over this traumatic experience dear Kylie, you may get currage and energy to do something about it for the good of all the future mothers and their safety at birth. Much love Maja

You need to share this raw and sincere video with hospital administrators. It is outrageous. You haven’t said a thing you should worry about (I’m a lawyer). Your sweet portrayal of this experience is so genuine and heart wrenching and will cause administrative staff concern. If not for yourself, do it for the women who are next admitted.

Great idea yet Will administrators see it? I am sure they have nasty people channeling complaints too. I cannot believe no one has formally complained before! Italian medical (Through the government?) I would think make it difficult to do much. Maybe the medical experience of many are also why so many young Italians are leaving??? I think a more immediate response may be for many of us, especially if you are Italian, to send in letters, emails of disappointment to administration. The more they get, the more embarrassed they may become. Of course only with Kyle's approval. Does Italy also have privatized hospital hours? Privatized staff? Also the fact that a husband cannot come in due to (post shot) covid is absurd!!! It would have helped Kyle (and nurse from hell) to have support in the pre-birthing room. Time to start a new hospital experience! USA has its medical issues but nothing I have encountered like this. No Monitor? Also fasting? How strange. Do they do "bleeding "also? Dark ages! Oh and Kyle I want the name of your shampoo!💇. Beautiful Hair!!

We are here to serve women in their time of need and while women are vulnerable. Do not let this slide for your family sanity and the sanity and protection for future births. Sorry that this was your experience of your first birth, but your strength and the love you have for each other got you here to this point. Your little one is blessed with such strong loving parents. Hi Kylie, I am Italian and I know what goes on in hospitals, particularly in Calabria. I am astounded to hear that you were treated in this way in Tuscany where, typically, the hospitals are better managed. I agree with most of the comments and encourage you to lodge a formal complaint, given your profile and your reach. Not for revenge but for the fact that a woman giving birth needs compassion and care, not to be be subjected to cruelty. I am so happy to hear that Gianfranco is healthy and beautiful. At this point in the pandemic, it seems to me there would be no danger to allowing the father to be with his wife during the entirety of the patient's time in hospital? If anything, her husband would be there to comfort her thruout taking alot of work off the hospital's back. Granted, they allowed him in at the end but should've been allowed to be with her thruout.

Those who we’re supposed to care for you failed utterly. They are not caregivers, they are uncaring and cruel. Thank God you and your precious baby are doing well now. As someone who was in the health profession for years and who has one daughter a doctor and the other a nurse, I encourage you to take action against those who were so cruel and the antithesis of a carding professional. They have no business being near a hospital much less a patient.

@@clairelivefreeordie2551 You are so right. My husband is the head of the general surgery at a University Clinic here in Germany. Of course in the meantime all patience can receive visitors and that is not limited anymore. Even during COVID my husband allowed - in difficult cases - family to be near their loved ones. It seems to me that it is just practical for these bad nurses not to have family and relatives around so that their incredible and unacceptable behavior can not be witnessed and that they can have it their way. I have never ever heard such a terrible report from a birth and it makes me furious. Kylie, I know I’m echoing so many others here, but I’m so sorry for how traumatic and painful this experience was - physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually - you absolutely deserved better treatment, as did the other new mothers around you. As you said, though, thank God you were in that hospital (horrible though it was overall) so that you could be treated right away after giving birth. In addition to your husband, son, parents, sister, and so many others, there are hundreds of thousands of people around the world who are beyond grateful that you’re still with us. It sounds silly, but I think that, on some deeper level, your son knows the strength that his mother showed and the compassion that his father showed. I like to think that he’ll carry those things with him for the rest of his life. All of my love to you, Guido, and your precious new baby boy. Thank you, thank you, thank you for continuing to share your light with us. You are a lamp illuminating the darkness that so often makes up the realities of our world. @@NyreeAlana hello, I am so honored with your comments and I hear it all the time with my practice here in the US, I don’t know either it is just natural and normal to us to treat a patient with kindness and dignity no matter what their circumstances is , as we were thought that this person you are suppose to take care could be you one day or any of your loved ones and to give compassion to such an incredibly difficult situation is what she needed at that moment , I am not sure in Italy , we as healthcare professionals have license to lose and there is a disciplinary boards that is in charge to such employees. I hope Kylie would pursue such complaints to advocate to other patients that were treated inhumanely , this just not happened to her there were many who had no voice and if this is exposed… there will be changed the way these so called” professionals “ will treat their patients. I'm a father of 4 children all grown, but was at the birth of them all here in the US. The labor and delivery nurses were super professional and encouraging. They knew what to do well in advance of the doctor coming in and doing a cameo role. I would have lost my cool with this kind of treatment of my wife. I am so glad that they staunched the bleeding and you're alive and well. It's a miracle that you were able to continue to breast feed the baby while all this transpired. For my first child, my wife's back gave out and she couldn't produce milk. I'm in awe that you could do so while being in the hospital. BTW it's not that important that we see the baby. I can’t sleep at the moment. It’s 1:45am in Florida USA. And I’ve paused this 8mins in to say how incredibly sad it makes me about how you were treated. How awful Kylie. I am so very sorry. I’m not sure how things progressed yet bc I am only 8mins in, but I had to pause it to say how sorry I am this happened. Restarting the video. I‘ll add more as I watch the rest. But, I’m so very happy you are back home now. ❤️ Ok, I made it to the end. I didn’t think it would get worse, but sadly it did. I am So very happy the actual birth was healthy and the baby is also very healthy. That is the most important. And that you are safe and home now. But my God Kylie, what you went through is absolutely heart breaking. I found myself getting enraged listening to how they treated you. I truly can’t believe how awful they were. What an absolute nightmare. All I could think is, how much mental trauma they’ve caused to you and other mothers as well, I am sure. You are so incredibly strong physically but even more so mentally. I’m not sure most women could have gone through what you did and made it out ok. And I know you will just get stronger and be able to move forward and be ok. Because you are so strong. But I wonder how many other Mothers are still dealing with the lingering mental strains of having that kind of treatment. I am rambling because I just can’t put into words how I am feeling right now. I think as soon as you’re feeling better, you and Guido should make a formal complaint. Don’t let this go. Because something needs to be done. It may help the next mother after you. If I lived there I swear I’d be down at that hospital raising hell on your behalf. And I’d have some words for those awful women. Praise God for the cleaning lady who helped you and the baby. And praise God you are such a phenomenal strong women. I’m sure that’s what got you through all that. I’m just so happy you made it through, and you and the baby are doing better and you are getting the care and love you need and deserve now at home. After all that, the rest of the weeks ahead will be a breeze! I’m just so proud of you Kylie. Your baby and Guido are so fortunate to have you. And please thank Guido for being so wonderful during and after the birth. This experience is going to make you even stronger than you already are. What an incredibly beautiful women you are Kylie. Be PROUD of yourself. We are all certainly PROUD of you. God Bless you, the baby, Guido and your families. I hope this all doesn’t sound too incoherent. It is now 2:45am and I’m a, starting to nod off. But I wanted to finish my comment. I can’t wait for the next video and I pray at that time you will have gained back your strength and things have calmed for you. Sending lots of love from America! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I also was wondering if you know of Sarah and Luca from LEAW; they had a similar experience (rudeness of the OBs and no one could be present) but on a visit prior to the birth of their baby, to the point where they chose to go to a different hospital in a different area of Italy. You are quite an inspiration Kylie. Congratulations on your beautiful baby boy.

First, Kylie, Congratulations! You are a warrior woman! Second, there is absolutely NO excuse for the way you were treated, to be isolated from your support system and then so cruelly bullied and gaslighted at every turn. Sadly, this tyranny is a feature and not a bug within the medical industrial complex, designed to push medical intervention. It’s all about power and money and it is an utter disgrace! So much respect to you for soldiering through an experience that many women would have fallen victim to. Perhaps you can be a vehicle to raise awareness and demand reform, because pregnancy and childbirth are not a disease but rather a spiritual and life changing experience that deserves to be holistically supported.

Kylie as a lot of people have said before me, please consider filing a formal complaint to the hospital. Not for vengeance but for any other woman who has to go there and give birth. No one should ever be mistreated like you were! This is horrific to say the least. I can’t imagine going through such, both of my births were so easy compared what you described. To me it sounds like not only the verbal abuse but the trauma you endured caused your pain and discomfort. As a mother of two your baby needs burping after each feeding because they can’t get the air and gas out on their own until they are able to sit properly by themselves. It causes their lil tummies to contract and hurt. That woman is evil to say that to you. She knew it would be hurtful not only to your baby but would hurt you knowing you weren’t capable at first to do what needed to be done. Always follow your motherly instincts. You look beautiful and know how strong you are. I’m so happy for you an Guido and you chose a beautiful name. I’m sorry you had to go through such a awful experience with such hateful people. @@loloholmes2793 oh yes, colic is so excruciating for babies. My second baby I couldn’t breast feed and back in mid 90’s we only had a small town Walmart. There weren’t as many types of bottles as today. My baby had colic bad and I had to go to using the Evenflo bottles with the bag inserts that you could squeeze all the air out. Also used Mylicon gas drops. In the evening between 5-8 pm was her window of colic. It was so heartbreaking. Thank goodness it didn’t last long for her.

Kylie, I'm so proud of you & crying watching this 💜 I'm a third year student British midwife and I am outraged & sickened to hear of your experience, even more so because I'm a new first time mama too with a five week old baby boy. (We had our baby moon in Florence in the spring, inspired by you). You are so incredibly strong & to have laboured under those bullish conditions, I have heard how medicalised Italy can be & I'm just so sorry you had people who didn't believe or trust in your body, but how strong in mind and body you are to trust yourself in spite of everything 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 You could talk to a doula or midwife and debrief your birth. Can't believe they still have those crazy COVID rules,,,, Wept when you mentioned the kindness of the nurse. I had my baby boy at home surrounded by my husband, parents and friends and midwives and truly could not have gotten through without their kindness, words and support (and the water from the pool). I kept thinking of all the women in the world who didn't have that support and it made me cry, my midwife had to keep reminding me not to focus on it. Kylie, you birthed your beautiful son and you should be so proud, may these early days and the months and years to come be filled with so much tenderness, nourishment and blessed moments. Prayers for healing, rest and peace over your new blooming family, well done super woman!! You are surrounded with beauty which truly brings rest and restoration for the soul, mind and body. There’s a pertinent phrase Kylie “That which you walk by, is that which you accept”. You need to escalate the cultural problems at the hospital in order to spare other mothers from the same plight. Btw I’ve been a patron for a couple of years from Australia. This is my first post from Italy in my new home. Many thanks for your inspiration!

Dear Kylie, all my love to your little family! I watched this with my partner who was a physician in Brazil and who has delivered many babies as a medical student, and sadly what you experienced is not uncommon, in fact he said that some of the most awful and abusive treatment of patients he ever saw was in the maternity wards, which is just unbelievable! This experience just proves how strong you are and what an AMAZING and intuitive mother you already are and how all of your mental and physical preparations in pregnancy paid off as you were able to come out the other end with a healthy and strong baby. Now go into a little bubble with your beautiful family and enjoy the weeks to come. Welcome to the world little Gianfranco! xoxo

I'm 20 minutes in and I'm crying my eyes out. 😥 I'm so sorry to hear about the added struggles you had to endure. An experience like that will stay with you for many years, and even perhaps forever. It hurts to know that there are people out there who can be so cold and cruel...when you're in such a vulnerable state. God bless you Kylie. And God bless Guido for having the loving strength that you both needed. I'll finish the video now! 🙏

I’m having a visceral reaction in response to your horrific treatment. Vile! These women should be ousted from the business of caring for people, altogether. I’m so sorry. Please take care and nourish yourself well. Congratulations to you both and ❤️❤️❤️ Welcome, little one!

Kylie, having children is not something I want, but I'm always in awe with how powerful mothers are. I wanted to say how sorry and angry I am for you and all the women who are bullied like this at their most vulnerable. I hope you get to process and heal at your own time, cause this experience was a horrific nightmare, no one deserves this :( I'm so sorry

Unimaginable and heartbreaking for a mother in labor to go through such a terrorizing ordeal. I am so sorry and I hope that you sue the hospital and those that mistreated you. You are so brave and your baby will be so proud of you. You are definitely a Warrior. I can't imagine me or anyone else going through something like this. Great blessings to you and your beautiful family and wishing you and your baby the best of health and God bless.

I rarely comment on videos but I'm 15minutes in and on the verge of tears listening. I've been a nurse for 10 years and I have recently transfered to become a Labor and Delivery nurse, I'm also a mom of 4. I'm so sad and sorry that this was your experience. It's outrageous that you were treated so poorly and unbelievable that your own husband was not allowed to be there with you during your labor for support 😞 Nurses are supposed to be the patient's advocate, I agree with your husband and others.....please file a formal complaint. Neither you, nor other women who go there to labor deserve such awful treatment. Please have a blessed life as a new mother🙏

I have no words to even describe the pain and sadness of hearing how you and other women are being treated there. Birth is such an incredible but also scary experience and especially for a new mom there needs to be so much kindness and support. This is honestly inhumane treatment and I sincerely believe you should file a complaint for you and for all the other woman. ❤

No excuse for this barbaric experience. Don't make excuses for them. I had a very similar experience giving birth while at a military hospital and after the birth my baby was withheld for 24 hours for no medical reason. On both fronts.. no excuse. I appreciate your honesty and encourage you to persevere to bring this story to light. I'm proud of you and offer blessings as you go forward.

Kylie-the treatment you received is truly horrifying and abusive. I can’t even believe this was your reality in the year 2022. Please submit complains and take this to the ninth degree. This should not be tolerated on any level. You are so strong. I’m so grateful that after all of this, you and your baby are still healthy. Sending you so much love ❤

PLEASE report them!!! That behavior is appalling and horrendous! They should not be doing the work they are doing and I’m shocked they are able to get away with it. Please report them and help other women. I don’t know how you got through that, you are so incredibly strong! I hope for better days ahead for you and your family and I hope other women don’t have to deal with those people again.

I'm in tears listening to this. You prepared for your birth with such a positivity, doing the right things, exercises, healthy eating etc and having a positive mind set in dealing with your disappointments - you just got on with it and wanted to give birth to your little baby naturally regardless of their recommendations. Then to be left alone, scared and in pain and not allowed to have your husband at your side for love and support. This sounds like a complete nightmare! How could they be so uncaring .. cruel even! Kindness is such a comfort at a time like this. I am so sorry for you, bless you and your beautiful little family. You are a strong girl, you worked with your body and you did it. You are safe now, at home with your beloved family and I wish you a full recovery. You will be an amazing mother ... enjoy your beautiful baby.

Also, I am so happy that you told the whole horrific story, it is an important part of your recovery to speak the story of this terribly difficult experience. The treatment you received is unconscionable. But your strength and courageous determination brought your beautiful boy safely into this world. Congratulazioni!

Kylie, I have just watched this as you mentioned in a video recently released (early 2024) the lady who has lost her baby to suffocation on the breast due to exhaustion. I am absolutely horrified how midwives/nurses in the hospital treated you and by the sounds of it most women they encounter when they are at their most vulnerable. You are amazing and I hope that they have not dampened your spirits and put you off having any more children. I have only one child and although her birth was not straight forward the staff were absolutely fantastic and for that i am truly grateful. My heart breaks for your disgusting treatment that should have been a wonderful experience.

Oh I am so so sorry for this experience. I work in a hospital in US and every birth is here a beautiful experience. We have the nicest and most compassionate nurses here. Hospitals compete here with each other to draw patients and thus provide the best care they can. Our rooms are equipped with jacuzzi and other amenities to help during labor and delivery. I would file up an official complaint so that other women would not have the same experience. Another problem is violation of confidentiality and disrespecting patients by gossiping and laughing in front of other patients. That is totally not acceptable. We would be fired right away id something like this happened here. Congratulations to you, beautiful mom ❤️

Welcome to the world little man. Congratulations to you all. Special time for you now that you are home with your family and can fully recover. Perhaps when you are back to full strength you will realise that what you endured from those evil people is totally unacceptable. You survived their cruelty and abuse because of your incredible strength of character but not all women have your strength. If no-one ever reports such cruel treatment, they will continue to get away with it.

It is so great Gianfranco is healthy and has two wonderful parents and many grandparents. He will grow up surrounded by love, beauty and wonderful food. To be honest, I cried for you throughout the video. It is so sad that staff gaslight, bully and fail with their duty of care for you. I hope you can focus on the beautiful moments like when your baby was delivered with your husband supporting you. I appreciate you telling the story honestly with all the raw momments, especially as you are still recovering from a traumatic moment. Your truely amazing. Just my opinion, I would make a formal complaint about the care not provided, to be alone and calling for staff is so scary, I give you a big hug from AU.
