After 3 years of following Mark's advice, I can attest that it works. Having worked for decades in an office environment with lots of sitting I was crooked and in pain. No need for me to give boring details of what was wrong with me other than to say I had all the classic issues. No more pain and finally standing straight.

Man, I worked hard in 2023 to correct asymmetrical issue. I really worked hard on improving my left arm in the overhead press. I did 1 arm kb presses and clubs. It translated to improved Barbell Overhead Press and improved Barbell Bench Press.

Hey Mark speaking of athletes, why not find some retired ones that threw for a living i.e. baseball players and quarterbacks do strength training and rehab with clubs with them. Would love to see their perspectives.

Mark. Do you suggest (for beginners) practicing the basic movement around the head minus weight or with a bit of weight? My concern is disrupting my current muscle arrangement and causing pain. What club (brand and weight) do you recommend for a woman who is just beginning? Thank you. 💚

Not Mark but Onnit clubs are usually available. You can start with 5 or 7.5.

I have a lot of women begin with a Cold Steel 31 inch baseball bat. Light weight but long lever lets people know if they are in the correct position. The adex club is the recommended weight. 4.5 lbs to 27.5 lbs in 1.25 lb increments

Mark can you do a video if possible about exercises that will benefit the Filipino Martial Arts, Escrima, Arnis and Kali. It's a weapons based art, single/double stick, knife, and sword. Been doing your system now for the last month and would like to know if there are specific exercises to perform.

Mark, I just got Level 1 & 2 of your heavy club program. I’ve been doing a double kettlebell C&P program but I have an old injury in my left shoulder that keeps on nagging me. I am hoping the rotational club exercises works that out. I have one 15 pound club. I know I will need more clubs. I don’t know if I will get a few more fixed weight clubs or the adjustable club. I am 62 and small boned. I don’t necessarily think I will work myself up to the 50 lb club so there’s that.

I took up mace swinging because of mark which is very similar to the clubs and my shoulders and neck feel stronger than ever - just remember it'll take months for tendons to build up and catch up with the muscles but I have no doubt it'll work in time.

Fixed weight clubs are bigger weight jumps, I preffer a 2.5 lb jump for most people. If you have shoulder issues. 1.25. More weights plus better. More times through the program is better. The goal is more reps, to gain better technique, the reduce injury, to train consistently, to get permanent adaptation

Some of this I think can be done w/ adjustable mace. Right!?

Yes, but Mace tends to be too long to do shield cost in a shin box position. And choking up on the handle, but limiting your movement tends to get people to clock themselves in the temple with the handle of the mace

The Badland outfitters breakdown. Mace is excellent for that though because it breaks in half so you can make a shorter maze with different heads.

Don't know if you're ever looked at aikido get up and roll exercises you might see something that will grab you

I am familiar. I did those rolls for about seven years. And occasionally I’ll do them with stunk guys who use Io rule, rolls and judo rolls in their primary training for falling down. When you watch John Wick, you’ll see a ton of same side shoulder roles.
