Atlas is in a whole separate class of pistols up there with Infinity, Akai, Accuracy X, Chambers Custom etc.. $5000+ handmade custom 2011s for competition. There's a video on the X-Ring channel shooting an Atlas Artemis out to 500 yards, so to say they're accurate is an understatement. Definitely built to go fast, that's why they call them race guns. To the people in the comments saying there's no gun worth that much, you must understand you aren't just buying a gun. You're buying the labor it takes to build. This is why Supercars are extremely expensive as well. Low volume, high customization, long labor hours and exotic materials.

Your first problem will be to learn French, the second to live here permanently and the third to understand why more than 99% of French people do not obtain a handgun legally as in most all other European countries. We are not the Eldorado you hope for. I'm not exaggerating on the numbers, I've just calculated the number of licensees out of curiosity by comparing it with our population : 0.34%. And understand that in the 0.34%, there is only a quarter who has access to handguns, all the others are simply shooting a pellet rifle. Handguns are literally 0.09% of the whole population. I know that the legislation in the United Kingdom is indeed the toughest there is, but that does not mean that it is easy here. And it's not just about the legislation. The number of criteria to tick is particularly substantial. They are not eternal, cost money as much as time as much your capacity to meet the right people and it will be necessary to renew everything regularly. Just to find you a shooting club here, you will have a hard time, the waiting list for mine is almost 50 people at the moment while we are not taking anyone until there is not one registered who will leave (which happens very rarely). Where I am, you have to be sponsored by two others from within already registered to imagine being accepted on the waiting list. After that, you will have to see doctors, people responsible for sports practice officially, justify a lot of practice certified on paper by officials during months and even after that, it's not impossible at all that the authorities refuse you access to the slightest purchase despite everything. What you buy as a handgun will never be yours and will be limited in time. It belongs to the State and if you cannot renew the authorization it will have to be sold at a discount immediately or destroyed. You will only have an authorization for a specific model only, the purchase authorization is limited in time and if you do not manage to buy it before the end of the deadline : you will have to start all over again. Handguns are very controlled in France and firearms in general too. It's forbidden to transport them unnecessarily outside the sporting setting without appropriate supporting documents, it's totally forbidden to carry them on yourself even at the shooting range and even if an attacker robs your home, fuck your wife and smashes your head on the ground to spit out your teeth : you are forbidden to shoot him the slightest bullet. If you ever do that : you will go to prison for several years for at least "attempted murder". If I have to compare the possibility of accessing a simple handgun in France it would be like saying that in our eyes California looks like Texas for an American. And again, I should exaggerate way more than that. I will delete this entire message by editing it in 48 hours and you should do the same with the previous one before giving bad ideas that would end badly to other people less clever than you. As an Englishman, if you really want to shoot a handgun, I can only advise you to move to the Isle of Man, Channel Islands or Northern Ireland but I don't know the legislation more than that and I guess it's not easy to get to either. I'm not even sure if it's still allowed, but check it out ! Maybe it's still time and possible to change your life for you. I think Northern Ireland in particular might be your place to go ! I believe that the laws are close to ours in France but I think your criminal record might be a problem... Feel bad for you man but UK is really extreme on the matter and you must not think that with us it would be different by simply moving without realizing it... If you're ready to change country only for that reason in EU : Czech Republic is for real by far the place to go. If you don't want to move, perhaps look for a shotgun as a hunter in UK...

The Atlas Athena is the Rolls Royce of guns. Beautiful piece of art that just happens to be a gun. Accurate for up to 500 yards with a 2 pound trigger. That's just insane accuracy and these babies hold 24 rounds. It's just a little out of my budget currently but if and when I can I will cop one of those joints. ✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿

The Sig MCX(M13 for the Call of Duty heads) are one of the best AR style guns available. I have an 11.5” pistol and a 16” patrol rifle MCX. The MCX convinced me that a piston driven system in an AR is the way to go. I’m not hating on direct impingement systems but piston driven guns shoot smoother, cleaner and are a lot more reliable. DI guns can just be tuned a little more than piston rifle but at the end of the day, Piston driven AR variants for the win, especially in larger calibers like .308, 6.5 creedmoor, or 6mm ARC
