Nice tutorials. Thanks. Tip using colored background for a white object drawing is good (helpful in other situations like a white building or white outdoor chairs overlooking a shore scene). Could you compare and show samples/ details of different paper textures?. I want to get some more of your paper textures, but I'm not sure which ones.. Maybe do a sample of 1 inch by 5 inch paper texture strips next to each other on one layer/page, like your layer of strips comparing/explaining your brushes. Then I could paint on top of the textures with different brushes and see the effects it creates and buy the ones that work best for my art.

I use a cheap Canon imageCLASS color laser printer with regular cheap cardstock paper :)

Thanks Calvin! One question, when I downloaded the sketch template, it didn’t have transparent background, so changing the color of the background in Procreate didn’t help me with painting the boat. Did I miss a step?

Hi! if you set the sketch to 'Multiply', it will behave like it was transparent :)
