Now I think I can sleep. Thank you for doing these videos without even charging and no product endorsement. You guys are gems!

Sitting here yet again w/ ice on my neck because it's reached the "I can't take it anymore & I've already had my max daily dose of Tylenol" level & beginning to trigger a migraine (I know this pattern, happens on days ending in Y). So this video notification couldn't have come at a better time. Thanks KZbin & a huge Thank You Bob & Brad. I'm going to check out that link on the series & the pdfs.

I would suggest if these exercises don’t help or are too painful that you try a McTimony Chiropractor they are the gentle ones, quite expensive so I always try to cure myself first but the Mc Timon Chiropractors are brilliant.

Hope you found a chiropractor. Sometimes you need an adjustment to get yourself back in alignment, then keep up exercises. Sometimes our backs and necks get a little too messed up over time and we don't realize it.

~THANK YOU~ .... 53yo female here>> I played with my 7- and 8-year-old granddaughters yesterday - teaching them to rollerskate on their front porch ...... and I was surprised to wake in the night with a migraine. I`ve always been rather healthy and fairly active, and rarely get aches /pains from light activities - and can even still pick those heavy little "bunnies" up for a few minutes {*sadly ☹ gone are the days of swinging them in circles by their arms}. I realized this morning, when I still had some headache and neck pain, that ...... AGE ...... I need to figure out how to get more exercise and regular activity into my life in order to continue LIVING. Although a few ibuprophen were needed in the nighttime, I did some stretching with you guys when I was able to get myself up to start my day - 1st day of summer courses online for the college degree I`m working on and then off to my sit-down job.

I've developed a technique to release my headaches. I bring my bottom teeth in front of my top teeth and allow them to stretch and rest in that position. Feels good to me. I usually do this when discomfort reminds me, so it isn't on my "daily to do list"

I truly cannot thank you enough for all of the great content you share! I discovered your channel about 1+ year ago and your videos have had a tremendous positive impact on my quality of life. I watched some of your neck/headache videos last year and my migraines have greatly reduced! I am still making postural & other improvements and continue to improve every month! I was back on here to find videos to share with someone else who may be experiencing cervicogenic headaches with migraine symptoms. Your videos make an incredible difference in the world!
@Kim-ss5bb Жыл бұрын
What symptoms did you have and where was your pain mine is literally all over
@bethi0307 Жыл бұрын
@@Kim-ss5bb I had multiple pains in the past from various factors. Poor nutrition, sitting at a desk for work, heavy anti-biotic treatment for a tick bite (thankfully no lyme disease), live in a house that needed mold remediation - all of this triggered a lot of food allergies and some caused arthritic pain. I've developed chemical sensitivity too (mainly nausea and headaches). I am finding that postural work, joint mobility, hydration, circulation, connective tissue / fascia care are all helping me a lot. I also use electrolytes that I reviewed with my naturopathic doctor. The videos from Bob & Brad really helped with neck and back pain. I likely have cervicogenic headaches from whiplash injury. What kind of pain are you experiencing? I've had arthritic pain for some years that is now gone unless I have a too many inflammatory foods. Tight muscles and connective tissue have caused tender spots on my body and I usually treat those through any of these methods: stretching, massage, hydration, heat (sauna/bath), and making sure I have good nutritional balance (ie magnesium, potassium), physical movement (ie walking) to help circulation through tissue and promoting lymphatic flow. Tender spots for me can link to one sided head pain similar to a migraine, and treating those spots with massage and trigger point tools has also helped relieve the head pain. I am sharing some of my story and information to help others on my website and blog, bethmanteuffel.com. On the products page I also link to treatment tools that have really helped me, that were recommended by therapists and trainers.

It really is AMAZING how the vody knows what it needs when something is off. When you have these headaches, you know very well that it comes from the neck. I always did at least. I would wrap around my head like "a crown of pain" (as i called it) and it always makes me feel like pulling my head off when it happens. Anyway these exercises and massages are all things that I would do instinctively to try to relieve the horrible hateful pain. The towel thing is new to me, but i did have a "strange desire or compulsion" to twist my neck kind of like that but never was able to get any satisfaction from it because without getting some extra leverage its pretty impossible to deeply stretch in a manner that is productive to alleviating the pain. Im sure that would help to reall get some good stretches that help open up that painful, necky mess.

I have a question. I no longer have access to my surgeon, so please don't tell me to ask him. I had 2 vertebrae removed and a fusion, as well as disks removed from a couple other levels 2 years ago. Are any of these exercises dangerous for me to do? If so, which ones should I avoid? I have been having crippling headaches from my neck for the past few weeks. I bought a soft collar to wear periodically, but its not helping much. I have Stage 3 kidney, so I can't take the Naprosyn that used to help me with such pain. It has gotten so bad lately, I am taking it even though it's so risky because I just can't take the pain any more. Help!!!😊
