I made this hat using just one color, yellow. Not putting on flowers either. Plan on using it at Lake to keep sun off my head and out of my eyes a bit. Made it tight enough that it won't fly off when on the boat. Thanks for tutorial and pattern, Rhonda.

Honestly, Clare! I am the fan of yours with the Mild Traumatic Brain Injury. Your calm, cool way of teaching with such a cheery manner is how I came to learn to crochet. My neurologist said I needed to learn a craft to get both sides of my brain working - crochet was it! I owe my health to you! Thank you!I just keep watching for more! I was so excited to live chat with you today! Could you consider doing a poncho that is different from the same old ponchos - more unique - maybe with shells? I'd love to learn it from you. Thanks, Tina

Hello Tina, thank you so much for your wonderful message. crochet helps in so many different ways and that is awesome that it is helping you. You get the therapy you need and you get to make pretty things, that is a win win I say :) I haven't got any ideas for ponchos, but will wee what I can come up with

Any time, I do love your work, and see so many other things we can do with it. You do a great job with the base of the project, but give us so much space to use our own imaginations. I went to a site the other day looking at Christmas things, I forget whose it was, and she was so animate that we do exactly as she said, it was like she would come through my laptop and frog my work if I did the wrong color or the wrong stitch.. lol.. yikess
