Chris you did it again man. You came clean about doing websites for years, but after you learned a framework that showed you how they’re really supposed to be done, you course corrected and allowed yourself to be humble. Being someone of your business awareness / expertise and call yourself out to an in person audience and on camera takes balls!! I think you’re a few years younger than me but I’m learning much from observing the person who you are. Thank you deeply! ❤

Gen X has all of the nuggets. We’re old enough to know what life was like before the internet and we’re young enough to know how to make what we know and have experienced dance with Ai and other technology. I love his content. He speaks my language. He's so relatable. Thank you for consistently sharing community content.

Chris really nails the essence of brand strategy in this talk. For designers looking to level up, understanding the client's business model is key-it helps tailor a brand strategy that looks good and aligns with their business goals and customer needs. Keep it strategic. Make it impactful. Wonderful content.

Man I work in the beer industry where branding and marketing are beginning to make enormous impacts in the success of breweries. Its amazing how accessible and applicable this information is despite working in a relatively niche industry.
@thefutur9 ай бұрын
did you see our series building a brand where we took on a local brewery?
@MattMcLaren2539 ай бұрын
@thefutur omg no. But I need to! I work as a brand manager for the top specialty craft beer distributor in the Seattle area. There's a big beer focus here but branding and marketing have taken a backseat in the industry overall and I'm hoping to develop a toolbox that my supplier partners can use to improve their consumer engagement and your content has been amazing, genuinely.

😂😂😂😂 some of us just save for later 🤣🤣.......posting them close together with almost similar titles makes you confused as to whether u have watched it already......but yeah....I can relate to this....especially since the info needs to be digested and applied...unlike news channels that post everyday but it's okay since NO NEED TO DIJEST THEIR CONTENT...you can even watch news channels in your sleep and not miss anything 😂😂😂 but here you have to be attentive with pen and paper

Sorry, Chris for writing this comment here: I wrote my Ph.D. in Germany, Munich, and have been looking for a job for 2 years but no one has given me any opportunity. My Master's was in IT Management and then my PhD was in technology & innovation management. I am very interested in marketing and branding, but could not find any internship or working student job to gain practical experience. So if anyone knows of any opportunity for me, and thinks that it is not too late yet, please let me know.

I love how you manage to explain branding as if you discovered it. wrt the logo that you sold by telling the client they were about the bottom line, is that putting the client first or the client's customer's first? Or is it about putting the client first because the are your customers? And if you have your client's best interest at heart, is it really appropriate to not show them any more logos just because they tell you not to? So, keep it super simple, right? Leaky bucket, gain visibility of shadow IT, know where money is going to plug the boat .... I mean, duuuhhhh. Simple, simple copy writing, don't over complicate it! So, 51% of "the people you're talking to" make a brand? Sweet! Sorry, who are the 'people you're talking to?' Target audience? Potential audience? How did you land on "more than half," if I may ask? Branding is about relationships. Do the things that build real relationships (establish trust, spend time together, share personal details, etc....). Oh, shit, right.... nobody knows how to actually build relationships now because social media + pandemic = malfunction, need input. And FYI, the Dodge Caravan was before the Aerostar. Duuuuhhh again. [btw, I'm kidding. Sorry, I have a fucked up sense of humor. I love your videos]
