Thank you so much for this. No fluff, just straight to the point and quite an exhaustive list.

Hi, I'm currently creating a brand for my portrait studio and I just wanted to say thank you for all these videos! It's like a complete beginner's guide to get me started, I'm watching the 10th video and I'm shocked at how much you give! Now all I have is money to advertise my own page and it's really valuable that even on a small budget I can build something clearer, more understandable out of the chaos of my thoughts and past experience of my brand. Thank you for the channel and for all these years of work! You are just incredible! I really appreciate it!

@BrandMasterAcademy8 ай бұрын
Environmental design in branding means shaping physical spaces like stores or offices to reflect your brand. It's about creating a consistent brand experience in real-world settings.

This was great. It helped me to determine where I would like to stop as a Brand Strategist. There are certain parts of this process that bring me joy and that is for sure the portion from strategic direction through verbal expression. Then I'd like to hand designing the visual expression off and just manage that portion. I do have a touchy question though, what do you do if you have a client that only cares about the visual expression portion of the Brand Identity and doesn't want to anything with messaging above and beyond identifying their customer demographics? I am struggling with that now,

@BrandMasterAcademy4 жыл бұрын
There is a 3 hour long case study in the course where you look over my shoulder as I build a brand for a client from scratch using the systems and tools provided in the course. I cover the marketing pathway for the client and how to setup marketing execution partnerships though I dont cover specific marketing tactic execution (eg Facebook ads etc) Feel free to reach out directly stephen@brandmasteracademy.com

Learning so much from this channel man. Is it possible to become an expert at both brand strategy and identity? Or is that biting off more than one can chew?
@BrandMasterAcademy4 жыл бұрын
Great to hear Godwin... You can become an expert in both of course but when it comes to the execution of both, you'll need to decide if that's something you can manage or if you're biting off more than you can chew... If so, one approach is to be the "planner" (strategist) and bring others in to help you "execute"
@swarupkbagul41774 жыл бұрын
Hi Godwin! It's good to aim for but delivering is more important. I think you should try everything and analyse where you are best at and gain the expertise in that particular part of Brand life cycle. There are many subtler aspects and eureka moments keep on evolving on this path as its way deeper than it looks from high level.
@godwin_njoroge4 жыл бұрын
Brand Master Academy That makes a lot of sense. Been a bit lost as to where to place the efforts right now because we currently offer identity services with a bit of discovery in the beginning, after which what you said in the video struck home. The client leaves and though the identity helps, you can always feel them be a little lost as to where to go with it.
@godwin_njoroge4 жыл бұрын
Swarup K Bagul Thanks so much for responding 🙏🏾 I guess you never know how or where you can help most till you try it huh? I’ll keep exploring. Hopefully one of those eureka moments will hit me yeah? :) Thanks again

Hey Stephen, just landed up on your youtube channel and I am amazed by the quality of content and knowledge you provide! I have a few questions: 1) Is it possible to be a brand strategist without having experience in designing? I do have experience in content writing and marketing. 2) According to your experience, do most companies hire brand strategists on freelance/contract basis or do they hire them on payrole (full-time within the team)? Thanks for the goldmine of information that you are providing!
@BrandMasterAcademy Жыл бұрын
1) Absolutely. I would argue copywriting and marketing is the more solid foundation 2) Full time strategists tend to be for high earning brands +$10m revenue.. Consultants, agencies and freelancers make up the bulk of the support below this level

Great content. I'm wishing to go into personal brand strategy & coaching after many years as a small biz coach. I've done a lot of niche work, competitive research, positioning, naming, and basic brand identity. I plan to bring in some extra hands for logos and use referral partners for the marketing execution. Considering your course. Having a system of processes and deliverable document templates seems well worth it. Here's where I hesitate. It seems like the amount of deliverables you suggest is geared towards corporations and I think it would be overkill for my audience of coaches/speakers. Do you still deliver that big of a package for personal branding?
@BrandMasterAcademy2 жыл бұрын
These are all possible brand strategy deliverables... some agencies may offer all, others may offer a fraction... define the market of people you want to serve, then decide what they need most :)

So is it possible to do all the branding and do only a part of marketing ? Like I know how to do Content marketing but would I just not bother with that ? even tho it's a service I can provide ?
@BrandMasterAcademy2 жыл бұрын
That depends on your own business and brand... Do you want to be known for content marketing as well? If you have the skills then essentially you're a resource to your business... however... is your time better spend as the strategist and business leader? Would it make more sense to outsource some tasks even if you have the skills to do them yourself?
