John ,Breda always made quality very well engineered guns back in the seventies., their semi autos would last forever . They tell me this gun had tremendous interest at the major gun shows also . Great revue again .

Nice gun. I like that they have designed it to replace parts as it wears.

Great video John - glad you mentioned the actual weight, not as heavy as it looks. Apart from the extended chokes it’s got nice lines.

The only thing I'm missing in this video is you putting a couple of dummies in and firing, and showing when they eject and how much power it takes to open the action.

You do great videos and I subscribe. Suggestion...since you use KZbin so much the video's stream darker than they should. If you use better lighting for the vid that would lighten up to view!

Any talk of a high rib model with adjustable comb?.

Great vid as ever....I hear they arrive soon. Are they going to keep the bore 18.4? Have contacted Viking, trying to arrange gun at local shop. Do like the silver version.

A couple of questions if I may? What is the receiver made from? Are there any plans for a fixed choke version? Interesting video. Roll on August!

It is a steel receiver but i have no more detail than that at the moment. No plans for a fixed choke that i am aware of

Why would you want a fixed choke on a modern shotgun? Its gine for a cheap gun, but im not buying a high end shotgun without removable chokes.

Any left handed shotguns for game you'd suggest under the £500?
@tgsoutdoors5 жыл бұрын
More than likely second hand Bettinsoli as they made true left handed guns. Or perhaps a brand new Yildiz?

Wood left proud of any metal destroys the appearance of a gun. Looks sloppy.
@wholeNwon4 жыл бұрын
Interesting engineering but stock finish seems poor, throat too thick and wood-to-metal fit, as you indicated, is (very) deficient. Pass.
@stonehorn46414 жыл бұрын
Its not a production gun🤷♂️ its an ealy model. Its not about fit and finish, its about letting people test its functionality.

Owned by Morochi? I had one of those, what a shit gun. Customer service was so bad the gun store ate the cost and took it back. I bought a Franchi with 7 yr warranty (owned by Beretta) instead.

Breda is very high quality guns. The brand name was for the civilian market. The company was the national Italian ordnance manufacturer by the brand name OTO MELARA. They built anti aircraft guns, naval canons, you name it... Marocci brothers bought the civilian branch of the company from the Italian state.They intended to continue with the brand name separately from their own and in fact make it the flagship of theirs to antagonize Beretta, Perazzi and all the others by offering high end guns having value for money in mind. Breda barels are considered among the very best in existence because they construct them with the deep drilling process even from 1980.A more costly procedure but the final product doesn't have any stress fatigue. Beretta were making their barels in Breda's factory and many people in Italy know that.

Why should an English person, working within the English gun trade, based in an English town, making videos to interest his English viewers want the problem of translating into other languages, remember that Spanish is just one more, should he translate to Portuguese, Mandarin, Afrikaans et al?
@juleswhicker5 жыл бұрын
@@MegAndJas Fair enough, but if you don't ask, you don't get. As for other languages, after English Spanish is the only other global language of European origin), so Juan is right to point out its importance. As regards your list, Mandarin is spot-on but Portuguese and Afrikaans are definitely niche. As noted, fortunately combining KZbin transcripts with online translators can do the job pretty well, and in a wide range of languages, niche and global, and especially if the translator/user has a good background knowledge of the subject already.
