Now I know now why balls way back in the times of kings and queens are held in big echoing halls in their castles because the Acoustics and reverb hits different just like in this huge airport, it's just a couple of intstrument but it sounded so full and complete, there is really no need for electronic mic or amplifiers. The echoes are so much different from a hall versus a theater, it sounded so elegant given the amount of people
@the_tactician98586 ай бұрын
Very sharp! I find that a lot of old theatres and halls have fantastic acoustics. Churches, especially once you remove the benches, are a great acoustic place as well. It makes sense to build a place of public speaking or music and make it so that noise carries further, and its kind of a shame that modern technology has made it redundant.

@GeoJoe_136 ай бұрын
@@howdoeatjerry3975 nope! Piano isn't a string instrument, it uses strings to make the noise but you're not directly touching the string with your hand like you do with violins, guitars, harps, cello, etc.

Most of the pioneers of other genres like rock, pop, blues, etc. were classically trained. Most modern compositions still follow the rules of ancient classical music. Why reinvent the wheel when it's right there ready to put your spin on it?

You would enjoy Mexican music. I believe Waltz No. 2 was inspired by a Mexican song and movie in 1938. The movie "La Zandunga" 1938. The song is much older and of the same name but sometimes with different spelling "La Sandunga". It is a Mexican folk song. Here it is sung with orchestra. Compare with Waltz No. 2. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jmrIk3yIit-bes0
