About the game:
Instruments of Destruction features an advanced physics-based destruction system. You can demolish every structure in the game piece by piece. In addition, every object you see in the game world--save for small decorative plants and rocks--is part of the physics system. Each element of the world interacts with each other and together they create a physical, visceral world to play with.
Build Your Vehicle
Build a vehicle your way, with an ever-expanding array of parts and pieces. Using an intuitive vehicle construction system that also lets you customize your vehicles' appearance and controls, you'll always have fun creating your next awesome invention.
From simple splitters to advanced joints, a variety of parts slowly unlock as you play through the game, and each unlocks countless new possibilities.
While some vehicles will perform better than others in accomplishing your objectives, it's always a bit more fun to get creative and go a little off script. Optional bonus challenges and objectives will reward more creative builders and add more replayability.

@@ttry1152 You mean the Trailmakers devs? That make updates at a tenth of the speed the IOD devs are pushing out updates at. Not to mention that the IOD updates are all free and the game costs less and if you wan't any significant amount of content from an update in Trailmakers you have to buy a DLC that costs almost as much as the game it'self... for every single update... That is greed at it's finest.

I don't know exactly how the mechanics would work in this game, but I'm pretty sure that the repulsor could be used to make armies of little creations. The repulsor could allow you to make all the little creations go straight towards whatever you point your camera at. This would only work if the repulsor works the way I think it does.

That is pretty sick. Hovercraft could be used to make faux boats, sky cranes, ground contour following projectiles, or even hovering mines.

If I had to guess, the roll setting for the repulsor is going to simulate the gyroscope on a larger creation. So, you're using L+R to strafe, Roll would turn it left and right like when you're holding the mouse down (because you're going to be using more than one hover drive/repulsor you're not going to just be flipping around on one axis.) My guess would be that the gyroscope is still going to be essential to creations like this, but since your creation is so small you couldn't really utilize the roll function of the repulsor as intended.

I suspect that the roll strength would be useful on a quad-copter hover setup. That way you would have more organic-looking motion, as the craft angles toward the direction of travel, but doesn't completely flip since the trailing edge would fall back down once it exceeded the hover height.

Would be cool if they add some kind of waypoint system or that you can lay down an "theoretic race track" which the AI is following. So you would be able to make "your own" race tracks or at least change the preset ways the cars are driving on :D

Scrapman is more humane than me. His solution for driving the losing car is to hijack the winning car. My solution for being in the losing car, add violence into the equation until there are no cars. Hence why my profession is not car racer. "Imagine trying to about your day driving around and a sentient boulder starts getting in your way." Scrapman has obviously never been on a highway with Dwayne Johnson before. The roll is used to simulate actual roll. If you have a hovering alien ship that has an absolute up, down, left, right, aft, and bow; then if you turn right or left you may want it to actually turn into it. The roll will do that, but without something like a gyro to reorient your build back upright, it'll just keep rolling in that direction. But it's mainly there to be able to simulate yaw, pitch, and roll. But I'd imagine if you have a saw blade build, the roll will let you run into a building while spinning it and not have to worry about too many other gyros and sensors.
