Love the specificity on how to actually incorporate intensity. RIR (reps in reserve) is such a misunderstood concept. Golden video

Yessir! RIR is huge if you want to build muscle

I have the body of a 20 yr old at 51. Clean diet and compound lifts and quality sleep. I started with 5x5 to let my joints and ligaments strengthen and catch up first before I started to do the heavy lifts. Everyone forgets about joints and ligaments that take twice as long to strengthen. You can’t do lifts with weak joints and ligaments. It’s a recipe for injury and creates all sorts of problems and inflammation.

Chocolate and cookies are a huge vice for me. Even though our bodies are allowed to have a modicum amount of sugar (about 30 to 32 grams), I still try to watch the amount I eat them each day.

Yeah highly processed foods are a dangerous road for a lot of folks

Cmon man. Lol. Thats so not true. TRT might be helpful for some guys but it doesn’t magically fix you
