I find that when I make cinnamon drink with Ceylon powdered cinnamon, it doesn't dissolve in the water even if it is boiling water . Maybe a small amount dissolves but most of it settles at the bottom. So what to do about this ? Has anyone else had the same problem ? Also someone told me cinnamon can damage your kidneys and liver ? So, is it safe to drink it every day ?

Namaste Madhuriji, After around 1 hour of having cinnamon water one can consume a healthy breakfast eg: veg. sprout poha / Idli but make sure that you are not consuming tea or coffee along with it. Cinnamon water can be consumed for a month after that it can be consumed on alternate days or thrice a week.

So while buying cinnamon, make sure it looks rolled and is a little difficult to break. The images they showed in this video are the real ones. If the cinnamon you are buying is easily breakable and thin and flat(like the one they showed in the tea process in this video), then it’s not the right one.
