Can a low might player win in Nukaland? Puzzles and Survival!

After many Nuka battles, and much frustration not just for me but many players I have talked to, I finally devised the best strategy for low might players to win in NukaLand! When I say low might, I mean low might compared to other players you may have to battle in Nuka. The most important thing to remember - play the event, not the other players! @@ValenceRing surprising i was doing great for first 50 min without my base get burnt . Until idk how to exit the place. My ally tried to tell me but i was panicking. All the big might farm me. Lol.. @@vanityvanityblack so sorry the last couple minutes is when the big dogs will usually start hitting sanctuaries. First, sorry I didnt explain the exit procedure. But basically on the bottom left of the screen is a return arrow next to the blast grenades and mammoth shield counts. Hit that to exit at any time. But I still recommend staying until time is up even if you are getting hit to get max points and max rewards. But after the event is done their is a 5 minute window allowing troops to return you dont have to wait for them to return hit the return arrow to exit the event. It's similar in reservoir war. excellent advice VR. i know the game has changed some in the past couple months, but your gather advice still holds true. i used a 2-hr shield this last one, and it made it so much better. I'm playing lvl22 now, but even at lvl19 the game has gotten really aggressive and congested the past few weeks. I tried a new time, and it was a little better. still had to move though to get a way from a couple players that load up to knock me off tiles. Sending 15-20K riders helps for accidental crossups for sure.. i do try to set up against some 4s with 3s handy. the 4s are just so contested lately. when one spawns there are at least 2 players going for it. We've been collecting shields and grenades too, trying to get to a center ore box before it is occupied. i use march speed ups, about 8 per week but can get 2 grenades and 2 hammers from one location. grenades are for aggressive players at the end. lol . they seem to work consitently. The shields have not been working for us for some reason. Was getting hit at sanc before this week and have been hit on ore boxes a few time only to have as many shields as we started with. Happening to more than just me. i try unchecking and rechecking the boxes down on the left, opening them up and leaving them alone etc. is it a glitch? or are we doing something wrong? thanks

Well probably not a glitch. The shields dont work for sanctuary battles (but neither do grenades) also it's important to understand that the only time a shield is used is if the opponent uses a grenade. So maybe when you are getting hit they don't have a grenade or dont have one activated. It's also always possible for the occasional glitch.

Lol for sure. Yes if you take all the grenades then you dont need the shields lol they wont work.

That is correct. Gathering boosts have no effect.

Depends on what your goal is. Resource tiles aren't enough to get every reward in nuka, but just gathering can get you ranked. And if you are in my Nuka level with players over 1 bil might and many over 500mil might then good luck getting anything other than a resource tile. So I'd rather rank and get some rewards then not play the event and get exactly what I started with, nothing. It is a war game so if people want to attack a resource spot they are entitled to. It is the variety of game play styles that make gaming decisions so important and is the main part of any game.

That's awesome! From what I have heard and seen he definitely seems like a decent guy! He definitely has the highest might in game that I know of but doesnt hold it over anyone which is cool. Even allowed a truce in a res war we had against each other. Tell him I said thanx! And props!

I think it is mostly useless going for the boxes, but one time i decided what they hell, i got a couple of the weapons and just went for the level 4 mines in near the ore boxes in the center, i got hit a few times for them, but i only lost once and wound up gathering a good amount. I would not say its the best way to do it, but it broke up some of the boredom of nuka lol.

I dont. But if you are sending full marches as a defensice tactic then yes send heroes. If you are sending 1 or a few troops then no dont send heroes

Yes. It is a special map that you go to for the event. A placeholder is used on the world map that covers your sanctuaries coordinates so that when you relocate back you are in the exact same spot as when you left.

Hello do you still lose resource on nuka? and is shield viable?

Shield is available. However if you are shielded and someone is on a tile you will just bounce off without attacking so you can only occupy unoccupied tiles or risk losing the shield. RSS is not lost during sanctuary hits in nuka or reservoir war either. The only real danger is having troops zeroed from being attacked. They do go to state infirmary though.

Absolutely! The sanctuary skin applies boosts specific to the skin but those boosts are active for all military purposes (except where specified in ruins) skins and frames and gold/silver card are active always! (Except in ruins lol)

@@ValenceRing I haven’t done the event before. My first attempt is in approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes. I noticed in your gameplay video for the event that you only had 3 marches sent out. Saving the other 2 for boxes. I am wondering how many points I can get if I can get located somewhere to collect level 3 spots with all 5 of my marches. I am afraid that I don’t have enough troops/resources to battle for the big boxes in the wasteland. I am only HQ 23 so I am guessing I will see a lot of HQ 24 with a lot more night than me. I am going to initially locate close so I can attempt to get the big boxes but if I am just overwhelmed by bigger players I will relocate and just try to grab what I can to maximize points.
