The first thing I feel is the immense pressure built up in my brain from all the info. Then I m left wondering wth am I suppose to eat that won’t kill me. It’s so sad the world we live in. Our God given food from the earth is no longer safe. So unless you care enough to do the your research and make the necessary changes. You’re guaranteed to die a miserable painful and expensive death. Thank you for the wealth of knowledge. It’s truly priceless. 🙏🏼 💕

Thank goodness I reduced processed food to none. I eat pizza about 2 times a year. When I go to the grocery store and look at what I used to eat, I am horrified. I'm surprised I'm not dead or very sick. I have changed to a more whole food plant based eating fuel that does include beans, seeds and nuts. Change is not easy, but I'm still in transportation.

Dr. Liu makes the highest-quality videos on the internet! Thank you for this one. "Where ever sodium goes water follows." ❤ I initially passed over this video thinking there could not possibly be anything I had not heard before about sodium. I am so happy to have returned to view it. This video should be aired on national television as a public service announcement. The message is crystal clear how salt impacts the kidneys and digestive tract.

lol, almost as bad as me. i loved school. professional student was the only label that stuck! got into research and i was lost. you and i have a lot in common. i can never eat one candy bar. or eat only one gal of ice cream! that is why i gut sugar entirely in the 80's along with all processed food. for iodine, i put kelp in my spice mix and instead of a lot of salt, i eat super spicy food. blood pressure meds also damages your brain. have not been to a restaurant since the 90's. working on my orchard/ food forest is an excellent way of eliminating salt as well. BEANS! my staple food. but i still eat a couple bananas a day. if you eat plant based food, you do not need supplements. as always, excellent vid 🙂

I would like to see information on cissus quadrangularis. After recently having a DEXA scan I leaned that I have osteopenia and osteoporosis. I have been on a plant based diet for 5 years. I walk 4 miles daily; been doing this for 10+years. I started eating natto daily for vitamin K and I have been taking a vitamin D daily for 10 years. I eat kale daily with my oatmeal at breakfast. And recently added light weights to help strengthen muscles. Very interested in cissus quadrangularis and which company's supplement is safe to use. Thank you!

I put a pinch of Himalayan salt on my eggs and my green vegetables (typically bok choy, brussel sprouts, broccoli) Everything else I eat has no salt. I eat a green apple and pecans, walnuts, macadamia, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seed (all raw, unsalted). I also eat about 10g of 100% cacao chocolate. Other than that, black organic, arabica coffee. I am a tad concerned about iodine because I don't consume any salt besides Himalayan which is iodine free. I do eat about 100g of organic hard cheese which might be helping, but I wonder if it is enough.

Well, there goes my switch to Himalayan salt-not from the Himalayas. What I had been doing to make up for their lack of iodine, is add kelp. I bought dulse, too. We also get those seaweed packs with the film-thin slices, only the ones cooked in avocado or olive oil. Yet now I am somewhat at a loss for a flavor enhancer if you are not recommending adding any salts to meal prep.

Start with potassium salt. There are brands out there that do 50/50 potassium/sodium. Or just slowly decrease your added salt intake and increase your use of spices. You will get used to it.
