What an interesting idea! I had the same Pokemon, similar idea, but different movesets: -Gengar (M) @ Petaya Berry, Levitate 76HP/252SpA/180Spe, Timid, IV 0Atk Thunderbolt, Substitute, Ice Punch, Destiny Bond -Haunter (F) @ Quick Claw, Levitate 4HP/252SpA/252Spe, Timid, IV 0Atk Psychic, Substitute, Giga Drain, Destiny Bond -Dusclops (F) @ Chesto Berry, Pressure 252HP/200Def/56SpD, Bold, IV 0Atk Calm Mind, Faint Attack, Will-o-Wisp, Rest -Strat: Try to get one KO with Gengar, then double DB to win. -If Gengar cannot 1v1, just sac it, then DB Haunter as well, forcing 1v1 with Dusclops. -Haunter is holding Quick Claw itself to increase chance of getting off Destiny Bond if opponent is faster or if opponent also has Quick Claw. -Dusclops should play a balance of offense and defense, using Rest or attack if crit may KO. -Faint Attack is obviously for Double Team users, and no immunity. -QC Flareon, Jolteon, and Guts users can be counters. Crits can ruin the run too. -Anabel: Stall out 3 Thunderbolts with Sub, switch to Dusclops, CM along with Raikou, stall out all TB & Rest PP, Faint Attack until low HP, switch back to Gengar, sub, KO Raikou, DB away.

I really like the inclusion of the date of the attempt. It really emphasizes how much time these vids take.

I love this team lmao, it feels like a team you could run into in the battle tower and get absolutely destroyed by

Just found this video and I wanted to say that I actually used the first team in my mono ghost run, but a bit different and got to 105 wins. I used the same Gengar surprisingly. I thought about replacing Psychic with Fire Punch but ended up never doing so. For Dusclops I went Curse/Wil-o-Wisp/Rest/Protect and a Chesto berry, and for Shedinja I went Shadow Ball/Hidden Power (Bug)/Sword's Dance/Protect with a Lum Berry. That setup also makes the Anabel Rematch impossible to lose since you can destiny bond snorlax and kill the rest with shedinja.

These have been a joy to watch, thank you so much for never giving up and making great content! I don't get to watch on Twitch anymore, but I always look forward to uploads and root from the KZbin shadows!

I loved watching this evolve live! Also I like how this series is evolving over time, too. Can't wait to see more... maybe monotypes in other (maybe roguelike) versions of pokemon 👀

I find these videos extremely helpful towards team building for my own team to use in the battle tower. The mightyena in particular from the dark types only vid inspired me to use a salac berry spore, endure, knock off, baton pass smeargle. Therefor i was wondering if there'd ever be a video where you share your knowledge of the battle tower and also share some optimal movesets/insight of teambuilding

Great vid! Crazy how Gengar is the best Ghost and yet she wasn’t even needed for so many fights! Think this is my favourite monotype vid so far because of the big brains required, and because I love Shedinja
