I would give beet juice a try, it helps lower blood pressure, increase blood oxygen flow, and reduce cholesterol. Just drink it in moderation of 1-2 cups a day as too much too often could cause kidney stones. I like to use the knudsen brand in a smoothie with frozen berries, greek yogurt, and the beet juice :)

I have arm lymphodema, i use various hand held vibration tools, much easier and smaller there fore able to positon one in neck/clavical , then arm pit , then upper arm etc. doing 5 mins or so in each spot , working proximal to distal, makes a huge difference. They are cheap and readily available and much more portable then a vibration plate. Sequence and location of where we massge/vibrate is so important. People using full body vibration should also clear/massage their main lymph node clusters, at all the joints /hinges, before and after a vibration session for even more effective lymphatic fluid movement .

With the rebounder, you only have to move a little, even the slightest tiny movement helps. Use it several times a day for just a few minutes each time and slowly increase the amount over time. I try to do it first thing in the morning and then at night about 2 hours before I go to bed. Even though my legs feel like I'm trying to walk with legs of concrete, I try and walk a mile a day. And I'm going back to water fasting in a few days to try and see if that helps any. It usually cuts all my inflammation down. So hopefully it might help this too. Ugh.

The itchy feeling you get are the capillaries opening up due to lack of movement. When you get itchy just pay attention to where it’s located for better understanding of what areas need more movement. Yes it eventually goes away but consistency will keep the blood flow going and less itchy each time . I used to get itchy to mostly on my thighs and buttocks. With the plate my stomach started itching and I hate it but I know it’s going to fade away and make me better. ❤

I was hoping this would be as good as it sounds. My husband and I got one for the purpose of lymphatic drainage along with manual exercises i learned from you. We bought one and started using it as instructed. I did pushups, planks, squats, lunges, and just standing on it for 30 minutes at a time. After a week i started noticing pain in my elbows, knees, and ankles. It got worse over time as i continued using the plate. I had to stop and just do my infrared light mat. I read that fluid can accumulate in those parts of the body when doing the plate and that makes sense because that is what it looks like i have but i tell you the pain has been awful, and finally after using DMSO on them, finally the fluid is going down and most importantly the pain is subsiding. I am sticking to a rebounder from now on!

Did you get lymph nodes removed? I have lymphedema in my face from an injury. Yes a injury…anyhow I know one thing that makes it worse and what makes it better and start to improve n drain and that’s controlling inflammation. Sometimes they say lymphedema is not a plumbing problem but an inflammatory condition. Reduce your inflammation is key. You need to heal your gut n fix microbiome, also stop eating inflammatory foods today. No more gluten and test for food sensitivities. Find a functional medicine doctor to help you reduce inflammation or buy Dr. GUNDRYS BOOK the plant paradox and follow it. Forget the salt idea, it does not contribute to your conditioning worsening. Moderation of Himalayan salt or Celtic salt is fine and we’ll help balance minerals. I’m studying lymphatic system and inflammation and adrenals so intensely these days. Which by the way you should check your adrenal health to to make sure it’s cortisol production is at healthy levels and that will keep balance of all other hormones and systems. If it’s not balance then you have chronic inflammation . Get checked to see if you have co infections like EBV if you do then you have chronic inflammation. If you have chronic inflammation in your body then your lymphedema will not improve. Manuel lymph massage and exercises help but won’t make significant changes until you drastically reduce inflammation in your body. Fix your gut first and most. We all have gut problems causing low grade inflammation unless we fix it. It’s from the foods we eat. Gluten and pesticide cause holes in our gut.
@MonicaRoca-sc5nv8 ай бұрын
Also after or while your changing eating habits to lower inflammation you could incorporate bromalain enzymes, Rutin, courmin, burdock root, dandelion tea for liver cleanse all for the lymphedema. The first 2 supplements helped with breaking up of the high protein content in the congestive fluid and is also anti inflammatory. There’s also a therapy called electro lymphatic therapy or assisted lymphatic therapy that helps to decongest lymphatic fluid and get it flowing. I see a nurse down in Arizona for this therapy but first is reducing inflammation thru diet and healing the gut. I know I repeated that.
@MonicaRoca-sc5nv8 ай бұрын
If Mayo Clinic cannot offer you anymore it’s time you try alternative therapies and trust me there is still a lot more you can try and do and that can be done for your lymphedema out there. I could go on and on about so much that might help but one step at a time.

I started using my vibration plate for about a week. I then noticed that I was getting a sore throat (only on my left side), but no other symptoms. On the 5th day of the sore throat I noticed when I was sleeping, a bunch of drainage was going down my throat. When I woke up in the morning, I noticed my throat was really sore and I had a very hard time swallowing. I went to the doctor and they did strep, covid and flu test and all came back negative. The left side of my neck was also swollen. Still no other symptoms. The fluid was clear. The doctor told me it was allergies and to take Claritin and Flonase. I have never had allergies and did not want to take this. Two days later was the worst day and barely could drink water. I did take Mucinex night so I could try and get some sleep. I woke up the next morning feeling much better but not quite 100%. I rested all day and the following day I felt better. No more sore throat. I was wondering if this was because I was using the vibration plate and that I had Lymphatic Drainage that went down my throat. I know this is a long shot, but want to know what the cause of this terrible sore throat was from.

Recently I was diagnosed with cellulitis in my right lower leg and have been on antibiotics for treatment. Followed up my primary a few times because the cellulitis is healing very slow. Have lower pain now, some redness but a good amount of swelling in lower leg/foot. Just being at the doctor's office yesterday, they want me to see varicose surgeon for possible varicose insufficiency because they believe I am in the middle of having this and the cellulitis. So I guess what I am wondering if I should still do the vibration plate therapy and try the exercises you mentioned in the video to help with the swelling and help my circulation.Right now I have just been standing on it and using a lower intensity per set program to start with. Also I have been elevating my legs, compression stockings and bit of ice therapy. Appreciate your time,help and any tips/suggestions you may have. Thank you! Jessica 🙏😊 Forgot one more thing. I also just back a orbital body massager that is from MedeMassager. Don't know if this would help as well. There is another massager like this call the genie rub. Again thank you for help and time.

Hi Jessica, I’m a vein specialist ultrasound vein tech, been working in the vein biz for 17 years. I also have been doing vibration therapy for years so I’m familiar with it. I would think that vibe therapy would be good for you even though you have venous insufficiency. The vibration will be good for lymphatic drainage and for deep vein blood circulation. When you are moving, the pressure in your superficial venous system drops which is good for insufficiency, and increased blood flow to your skin may help fight the cellulitis. Hope you are well!

@@MissMonicaJ Hi Monica. Thank you very much for your feedback/advice. Truly appreciate your point of view given you work/see these situations in your work. I had done the vibration therapy, elevation, compression stockings for a while now and has helped me with the swelling etc I do believe. Unfortunately with my work schedule ( school bus monitor)lately I haven't been able to do vibration as much but know I need to make it a priority for myself. So I did recover from the August cellulitis and have had a specialist visit regarding this situation. Have follow up appointment in November for another type of doppler imaging and another for the results. As of right now my lower right has started feeling like the beginning of the August cellulitis situation and my primary gave another round of antibiotics to help with this. Overall it a very frustrating situation and know the ladies in my family have had issues with swelling etc with their legs. Just hoping to get some better answers and directions from my doctor in future appointments. Again appreciate your time! Jessica 😊🙏

Hi I just watched a Vid about Vibration plate and you said subscribe because you are doing more ? Well I did and it said only two were made so I clicked on play list and only one played the one I have already watched, "Watsup with that ?" Are you reworking the second one or lost interest or do not think these machine are worth your time doing what you said you would do ? Thank you. Indigo
yes only two specific to vibration plate- but Kelly focus is on lymphatics, so heap n heaps of videos on lymphatic flow, massage, movement and more- which you can then combine things you learn from other videos to refine your vibration plate use. Like the sitting and standing exercise videos .

@crispykmm9646 ( this is the one you responded, i had changed the KZbin name to Ravibass) Thank you for commenting as my first comment was that she had not produced anything after asking us to subscribe and she would ? Since writing my somewhat sceptical comment, I am one of those people who wake up a lot at night specially 3 am, so I decided to have a go at Vibration Plate which now I call "The Wobbliser" after 3 months I must say I feel more in contact with world around me, I broke my leg after a motorbike accident and never really healed but after 10 years of Kung Fu, I think it was all the kicking in different angles it got much better, but after that I moved to country and did nothing but walked to amazing lookouts and pondered on view. I came back to city to found my leg had suffered, I didn't go back to Kung Fu, and leg got worse so I took Opioids 🙃 mmmm till I tried to get off, finally did but by now my leg only would only bend half way. Got machine tried to get info about it, this Girl Kelly I had hopes in , anyway I kept going on full for 15 mins each night but I can get extra 20 or So more degree's more. May I ask you "crispykmm" what's your attraction and have you had benefits and to finish off have you got "Focus" ie: Are you a natural Therapist of something or do you have a favourite machine or exercise that work for you and why ? Thank you I am always interested in peoples stories. Indigo.

It’s safe for vericose veins right?
@MissMonicaJ5 ай бұрын
Ultrasound vein specialist here. Vibration, like any other exercise, is safe if you have varicose veins. In fact, if you wear compression socks when you exercise it can help circulate the stagnant blood that is pooling in the varicose veins down to your deep veins. If you haven’t seen a vein specialist doctor about your varicose veins I would encourage you to! There are lots of effective, safe, minimally invasive treatments for varicose veins these days. Be well!

I have arm lymphoedema too. Our lymphaic system is a whole body system. So we can't just treat our arm. If lymph is moving well all over our body, that will help our arm. We also need to give our arm some extra attention to double up on helping that fluid move out.

Curious if the reason it is contraindicated for Parkinson's and balance is because of fall risk. I agree the type without rails to hold on to could be dangerous, but otherwise it would seem good for balance. Is that the reason or is there another? I have a really nice vibration machine. It has handles and a number of whistles and bells. I've had it for a number of years and have never used it. Shortly after I got it, I went to an ortho for my bad knees. He basically told me not to do anything other than water exercises and biking. So, my question is this, in your opinion, do you think that if someone had bad knees, almost bone on bone, that one of these machines would make the knees worse? Also, I see so much information about people having blood clots from the covid shots. I never had the shot, but my mother had a series of strokes and TIAs. I'm wondering if this machines could dislodge a clot, causing problems? I've never used this machine because of the blood clot scare. So do you think this would be okay to use, so I don't have to worry about blood clots, or compacting my bad knees and making them worse. Thank you for any information you could give!! I'm to the point where I'm thinking about just throwing this away. But, it's basically brand new. I would hate to give it away if it could cause someone to have problems!

Check the list of contra-conditions in Kelly's video before you start using it. I've had to stop using mine now because I've got 5 tumours (benign) and tumours are on this list as well as a lot of other conditions where people shouldn't be using one. My largest tumour has grown 1 cm in 6 months since I've been using the vibrating platform so now had to stop using it.

@@poppylove3673 Thank you Poppy. I started using a vibration plate after a diagnosis of Lipo-Lymphoedea in October 2023 at the age of 75. My GP, who told me he knows nothing about Lipo-Lymphoedema or the 5 Angiomyolipomas I have, told me he didn't think it would harm me. So I used the vibrating plate 3 times a day slowly building the time up and on speeds 1 or 2 as recommended. I know it was working for me for lipo-lymphoedema and was keeping the lymphatic fluid moving and the swelling down, I also felt more energised. On watching Kelly's above video last weekend I was upset to discover the long list of contra-conditions where people should not use these machines. I did not know until then that with tumours I shouldn't be using ir. I am worried that since using it this may be the reason why my largest tumour has grown by 1cm in 6 months - faster growth than previous ultrasounds have revealed. The original, and now largest tumour, was discovered in 2008 and then a further one in 2016. I was monitored regularly until January 2020 when I received a letter from the hospital Consultant, the opening line of which was "How much longer do we continue monitoring these things." The letter told me I was being discharged. The Covid Pandemic may have affected things but in the UK we did not know about it until a month later. I am the patient so that is not up to me but my understanding is that they should have continued to monitor me. In the short time from 2020 when they discharged me, a further 3 angiomyolipomas have developed and I've been diagnosed with lipo-lymphoedema. I've spent most of the last 6 months researching how to look after myself because I'm not getting any help and I don't think anyone cares. I even had to self-refer to the local Hospice to see a Lymphoedema nurse and she told me my GP had misdiagnosed me with just lymphoedema when the correct diagnosis is lipo-lymphoedema and she wrote to tell him. At a time in my life, when I need the NHS, is it going to be there for me? To answer your last question Poppy, angiomyolipomas are benign but at 4cm+ they are less predictable I understand, and from what the medics have told me there is a real risk of haemorrhaging which can be a life threatening situation. I am waiting to be seen by a Urologist so can't say more for now.
@janettidswell20926 ай бұрын
@@poppylove3673 Yes, I did know that I had 2 benign kidney tumours before I started using the vibration platform but I had not read anything about tumour growth being affected by using the machine. I wasn't seen for regular ultrasounds once Covid started and had to ask my GP for one to be done in April 2024 because they are supposed to be regularly monitored for growth and nobody had seen me since 2019. After an ultrasound in April 2024 my GP rang to say he'd requested an urgent referral to urology because I now have 5 AML's and the largest has reached 4cms so may need treating. This was on 13.5.24 but I am still waiting for an appointment. The largest AML grew from 3.1 cms to 4cms in the 6 months since I started using the vibration platform last October. I'm erring on the side of caution now unless I can get an answer.
