Sherry! I just don't even know how to express this. You're creations are so unique I'm always amazed at how many ideas you come up with, using scraps.
@melissadeville17033 жыл бұрын
As expected, you did not disappoint at all! How do you continue to come up with these amazing ideas time and time again? I've made what my daughter used to call "wonky trees" like your 1st project but used ribbons. I like the idea of using paper but I'd like to do a smaller version as an ornament that I can decoupage. You're probably correct that most people don't have mailboxes to make a village but lots of us have shipping boxes these days to use that could be substituted. Loved the large tree from branches that you made into an advent calender. I have a ton of small cross stitch ornaments that I've made that this tree would be perfect to display them! This lantern fanatic with lots of them is so gonna have to make one of those nativity lanterns too! Oh, and I loved the simplicity of the music lyric stocking as well. So many fabulous ideas are floating around in my head! TFS, be 🙏🏼 blessed and stay 😷 safe.
@CanterburyCottage3 жыл бұрын
Melissa, I am so glad you enjoyed today’s projects! 😊 You should definitely showcase those cross-stitch ornaments! I made two cross-stitch ornaments years ago and gave them as gifts. They took so long to make that I never made any for myself, but I think they are beautiful!

Once again, you've done it proud! I have a couple of old lanterns and they are unique. Thank you for sharing everything! Oh, I used to make wreaths and sold them. Kept one or two and one I made for my Mother and Dad, they gifted it ack to me as they were going to a retirements home-although Mother decorated their apartment with some amazing ingenuity. She also designed some particular things to put in there as well as benches with planters for the patio. Soon, other people began to do the same thing to a once unembellished yard. It was so much fun to see her do it and Dad help, as always was the case. They worked on so many projects together and I was privileged to see how they did quite a number of them! What a couple. Thank you, Sherry. Terri

Sherry, you never cease to amaze me. Creativity spills forth from you, with no end. So I know you will not disappoint me. You know, Illinois winters are long. Most the youtubers I have been following go from a little fall, to Christmas to Valentines day to Spring. But Christmas is actually only a few days into winter. Our winter weather usually starts in November and runs into March and I want to decorate for Winter, not Christmas. I need decor to last, I need winter projects to add to the decor to keep things fresh. January and February are blah and depressing and I might be stuck inside for weeks. I never understood why snowflakes, snowmen, cardinals, berries and many winter songs etc. are considered only part of Christmas and forgotten about the rest of winter. (LOVED your jars of bird seed) Please use your magic and come up with some great things I can do to get me through this upcoming season. I have been busy growing my stash in expectation of you're amazing talent. I also have a question. Down the street in an alley is a old "free" piano in very bad shape. It has been rained on for days, is warped and water logged. But today I went down and collected a good many pieces of ivory and several black keys. Now I need ideas as to what I can do with them. Thanks so much, Sherry.

'Reimagining' is your superpower!! I loved each & every one! Thanks for more ideas for how to display copies of precious family recipes! Advent calendars are soooo expensive & way overpriced most of the time, but I've been wanting one. So now I'll make it myself! I'll bet cheap 12" bottle brushes with wire handles would also make great 'branches' for a tree as well! I love Canterbury Tuesdays!
