It does work if you use the same for hearts and spades as well, it only doesn't work if you don't use the s on clubs. I think it's easier if you use the s on all of them

Alternative Performance: They pick and cover 1/9 cards. Take choice out of their hand by dealing down 2 piles of 4 each. Give them choice of either pile to sit their card on. Place other pile on top. Suit: Plural for 1st 2 suits, singular for last 2 suits alphabetically. Question 2 Face or Number. Question 3. Your name or nickname? People like personalization. Instantly shorten it to 5 or less. Carlton becomes Carl, Raheem becomes Rah, Pamela Pam and Theresa is Terry. Last question, Favorite 2 or 3 digit number 23.

If they say the suit of their card is Hearts, Spades, or Diamonds, then it can either be plural or singular when you spell it. If they say the suit of their card is Clubs, then you HAVE to make It PLURAL when you spell it.

This is a Karl Fulves self worker. And why not just overhand shuffle one, out jog, and throw? Still a nice trick though esp for complete beginners. If ppl like this type of trick, Karl Fulves, with as much flack as he catches has some brilliant self working tricks with cards and everyday objects

It can work with the s at the end of all the suits. Clubs, hearts, spades, and diamonds. It will also work if you use the name 'court' card instead of 'face'.
