We made it today and we really like it! You can definitely taste the flax but like you said, it's not overpowering. Thank you so much for posting this recipe!

@@CosyFoodie Me too! We will surely be using this recipe lots in the future as well, because I just remembered that our juicer has a pasta extruder attachment, I forgot because I never thought I'd ever use it because we don't eat gluten or grains - but NOW we have more possibilities! I'm going to try it with chia seeds as well and see how that does. It's so exciting to have this option!

@@CosyFoodie I did! And I found it a bit gritty, I preferred the flax version. I did grind the seeds, perhaps if I had soaked thrm longer maybe. But I liked the flax ones better. Thank you for asking!

Thank you for this, I've been trying to find good recipes using cassava flour, as I'm gluten free, vegan, no oil - which makes bread or pasta interesting at times. btw - I tried looking at your website, and there's nothing there, just a notice about if you want your own website builder. Is that going to be something you will do in the future?

Great recipe! I'm just wondering: 1. Can you roll it without the paper sheets? 2. Can you do this with other pasta shapes, too (tortellini, ravioli, etc.)?

The paper sheets prevent it from sticking to your kitchen surface so would definitely recommend using it if you can. And yes you can absolutely experiment with different shapes.

I haven't tried with chia seeds but I think it's worth a shot. Perhaps if you finely grind it first, to achieve a smoother texture for your pasta.

Ground flaxseeds. It can be found at most health stores.
