Thank you, Adriene, for years of yoga. I adore your personality and professionalism and loving both you and Benji over the years. I am wondering if you could help me understand your decision not to say Namaste at the end of each session anymore. I find myself waiting for that closing moment. Nothing else really completes a yoga practice session as beautifully for me. I'm sure you have a strong reason. Do you mind sharing?

Can I just say that I LOVE THE LENGTH of these videos? I remember the ones from two years ago were way longer and that made me skip the challenge. These videos are just the perfect lenght!

Sometimes I even "cheat" when I'm short on time in the mornings, and put the video on 1.5x speed. It's not too fast and still easy to follow. I love that I can start my day with this!

@@annavoytenko My fave so far for the 30-day yoga journey was HOME. That was January of 2020 right before the pandemic. Although I love every video from YWA. I mean they’ve curated some of the best monthly themes suited for every season. And the emails or what Adriene calls her “love letters” to each one of us. They are very thoughtful. It’s a pleasure knowing that you’re also on this journey. Namaste!

@@DirtyHarry69. you are absolutely right. The mental and physical aspects were just few of the things that changed immensely while doing the yoga practice. My thoughts and perspectives, my relationship with myself and others, my attitude and outlook in life, my patience and understanding towards the practice, and my deep meditation. I could talk for hours but one thing I can say is that being here in the moment, and on the mat, that is already a win for you. We cultivate the movements, the energy, the breath… and at the end of every practice, we are be able to fill our cups so that others may benefit from the overflow. I welcome you to the community and it’s a pleasure practicing with you. Namaste!

Sundays are for stretching and self care 🍀Lay awake most of the night, figured I might as well roll myself onto the mat at the break of dawn. What a lovely way to start the day: wearing cozy pajamas and taking deep breaths. Lots of love to my fellow yogis out there.

Today I had a hard day. The holidays were over, my daughter had gone back to university, and I felt so sad, lonely, and empty. I wasn't even sure I could show up for today's practice. But I came. Thanks Adriene, breathing and stretching is what I need today. Namaste my yogi friends.

I am very late, but today my cat laid on my belly and started purring during the final pose. Like a fluffy, rumbly heat pack. We stayed there for awhile and it made me tear up a little. She loves being near me while I practice with you.

Phew, that was hard! I am getting back to yoga after two years, while I had cancer. Bringing my body back into balance. It feels so good, even though it is hard! My joints aren't as flexible as they used to be. Thank you, Adriene, for growing with me and for offering your practice to all.

This was a hard one for me! Even though it looks easy, it didn't follow the normal yoga sequence and the stretches felt strange in my body. Plus not a single down dog 😭 The pigeon pose and knee stretches were the hardest! Ouch! But we love a challenge!

I have fallen off the yoga wagen and have been really struggling to get back on it. For the past few months, it has been extremely hard to keep any sort of routine, which ends up having a huge toll on my mental health. Yesterday, I injured my back doing nothing more than putting something away in a cupboard and I decided it was enough. I said "let's start small, let's check on Adrienne and do some stretches in the morning". The morning comes and today's video is called Stretch. ❤️ It was really hard to keep up with it, both mentally and physically (even though it was quite a light one), which just goes to show how much I need to get back on the wagen and indeed Center myself. Thank you Adrienne for these videos and for making me feel so welcomed back.

iI am someone who has had and is still having a deeply emotional response to this shifted epoch. I have had difficulty finding comfort in anything other than cupcakes and finally decided to make a change and do this 30 day journey. It has already offered me so many gifts in energy, intention, clarity, comfort. Multiple people in my sphere have asked me "what's with that glow." lol. So thank you for this practice. The care you / your team have put into it is noticeable in a topical AND at a deeper spirit level. YOU are a gift. I am grateful.

Today i wasn't in the mood like the other days, to do yoga. But i did it! And now, i am feeling better than before. Actually i just ended the practice and a smile has formed at my face. Feeling so happy and blessed to live at the same time with you Adriene (And all of you here!) and be able to take all these lessons and love. One of the best commmunities. This is my 1st time practicing live, from the West coast of England, UK. The wind has kept me awake all night! Every cloud....😀 The Fylde coast has been the Wild West coast! Wow 2.4k people joining me! I'm usually about 30 mins after the live has ended. My 5th year doing 30 days with Adriene. Thank you for these programmes. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's already. I feel you, I suffer from migraines, too, although luckily I haven't had a migraine attack for a long time now. Adriene's yoga for migraine is part of my migraine routine, it usually helps a lot. Glad you're better now, and doing these 30 days with us.🤗 Namaste.🙏

Definitely try her routine for migraines when you're up to it. I do the breath work whenever I see signs of a migraine coming on, it often helps it from getting full strength

I just want to say that I have medical issues that we just found out about. Of all of the medications and diet changes, THIS is the thing I look forward to every morning because it has made the biggest impact on my health, stress, pain, etc. So thank you!

that PIGEON POSE!!! oh man what a stretch. It’s been cool to notice how as we go along I’ve been getting better at cueing myself in the poses, like noticing that my ribs are flared and needing to hug them in, or pulling my hips back because they’re not squared in certain postures. It’s nice to be able to recognize how my awareness of my body and my movement is improving as we go along!! Looking forward to tomorrow, I can’t believe it’ll be halfway!!

I’ve been following this 30 day practice rain or shine. Had all my wisdom teeth taken out today and still came to the mat. Adrienne I’ve been practicing with you since I was 15 years old so almost a whole decade! Thank you for always been such a sweet guiding light we appreciate you!!

Good morning! Remember to keep your feet flexed (“bright”) when you are in pigeon pose. Remember to give yourself grace. It may take a while to get into these poses- trust the slow progress. I’m still struggling with some poses too (almost 3 years later). This is an amazing journey. After the 30days are over, I go through them again. Then I pick another 30 day challenge from a few years ago. Have a wonderful day.

In pigeon, should we sit on the hips and thigh or on the shin? It feels like I'm collapsing too far when sitting on the hip/thigh, but then feels like I'm floating my butt when sitting on the shin. The pressure on the back knee is also uncomfortable.

I almost skipped today and realized I couldn’t fall asleep without doing my 30-day Adriene! I have been sleeping so much better these days due to this work. Typically a morning exerciser, this series works out well before bed for me and dissolves the garbage from the day and brings back my breath. After the video today I realized that the views was 200,601… I loved the idea of being that #1 on the end. Silly, but brought a smile. I think I can rest well now.

I've been a end of the day-late practice person for a long time ! It fits in so well. I was taught a long time ago that a practice should be the 1st or last part of the day. Makes sense. Congratulations, maybe you found a better way. Namaste

That pidgeon stretch was insane... I'm not a very flexible man, but I just picked up yoga after 3 years of weight-lifting and heavy work with barely any stretching at all. Glad to be here. Namaste 🙏

I'm a couple days behind - had a work trip last week that threw me off my schedule. HOWEVER...I'm still here, still showing up, and that makes me feel proud!! Anyone in the same boat as me - don't give up!!! We can still do this! Who cares if we're still practicing a few days into February 😉

I love your humour, the way you say those funny comments, like "Benji, everybody!" at the beginning... Love it! It's those little perks that help me come back every day. Whenever you're doing a posture that requires you to fold on the mat, i can't hear anything, and i'm afraid i'll miss some of your wonderful comments or an important instruction. But overall, i can hear you, and i love what you're saying! Thank you for the humour : it's really a plus! 😄

I had a few tears well up after this one. I blame the hip opener lol, but really when u said see u tomorrow I thought about how I've been so excited for each day and can't wait for the next one, and that excitement has helped revive the part of me that gets sucked into the day to day mundane monotony. You really do have to shake and stretch and breathe your body back to life sometimes. Thank you Adriene and this community for creating a space for all this magic! Love you all

I usually practice in the evening, but today we'll celebrate my not-so-little sister's 18th birthday so I decided to join in the morning. Adriene, thank you, this stretchy practice felt amazing after rolling out of bed on a cloudy Sunday morning💌 I practiced with 1300 yogis today, which filled my heart with love🧘‍♀️✨💗

One of the most beneficial things about yoga for me has been stretching the mind as well as the body, increasing flexibility in the mind. Being more tolerant of when things go wrong, when I'm confused, when I'm struggling; it's all part of the package.

First time doing a challenge. Today was the first day I didn’t have the chance to do it right when I woke up. I have been so sore all day from working out and thought I couldn’t handle it today. Then I saw the stretch title and it was exactly what I needed. So grateful

I have very poor hearing so when I tried yoga in a class setting with background music and a soft-spoken instructor, I simply could not hear her instructions and was constantly trying to catch up based on what others were doing. I left sad and frustrated with myself...which was.not the point. A friend suggested we both start your Center series together (in different states...but together) on Jan 1. It works so well for me! I can follow it well -- and I feel great. As I get stronger and understand more of the nuances of the poses and transitions, I will try an in person class again, but until then, I do it every day. Had to take a week off as my tennis elbow flared up. But back at it. Love that yoga is a great way to build strength and flexibility before getting back to lifting weights. Thank you as always Adrienne

I have been doing yoga with Adriene for about 3 years continuously. I especially appreciate the 30 Days of Yoga sequences you have offered us, not only the premieres in January but that previous 30 day journeys are still available to work with again, as well as the monthly calendars. What amazes me is that no matter what time of the year or what is happening in my personal life, the themes of the session for each day always seems to meet me exactly where I am in present circumstances! Yesterday, Day 13, I needed the reminder to Trust on a family ski trip! And today, because of skiing, which I do only about once a year, and my muscles are talking to me about it this morning, I really needed this Stretch practice of Day 14. I don’t know how you do it, but it’s magical and meaningful and I am so grateful to Adriene and the whole YWA team for your generous gifts!🙏🙏🙏

I jumped into Center at day 10. I'd been doing yoga with Adriene daily for a year and a half, but had a total knee replacement 7 weeks ago. SO grateful to be part of this community and strong enough to return to the daily practice. Adriene, I'm so grateful for you and your guidance. Thank you! ❤ 🤗

I am very behind in the series, and just finished Day 14 today. I have to say that I am starting to enjoy showing up to the mat every day, and no longer feels like a chore, and I am noticing that my upper body is stronger. Yay I'm so happy and proud that I've shown up again! Previously, when I joined in on the 30 day yoga journey, if I didnt practice in the morning, I would not practice at all. Today I have changed that and practiced in the afternoon! What was interesting as well is that I was forcing myself to do the posture like I have done them before, instead of listening: what feels good today. When I noticed that, I changed that as well. Double yay! Thank you Adriene and thank you community! Namaste

I made it to the mat today. Loved the practice. I was a wee bit wobbly coming up on over from cross legs. I did it twice. Also very wobbly on left side grabbing my right ankle. Yet I could do it when we were lying down. Hey ho. I did it. I was so pleased with myself. Thank you again Adrienne and community. I agree we have a lovely community. My favourite day so far!! I always love the slow, stretchy ones - they’re so satisfying and my body feels amazing afterwards 😊 My hips felt sooo nice after the pigeon pose! 🥰

I've had the flu since NYE but really didn't want to miss out. I've been practicing daily when I've had the strength, or every other day and doing two back to back. I've really needed it and I honestly think it's helping me recover! Thanks Adriene. It's been the best series yet in my opinion!

My back and knee woke me up with aches in the middle of the night and I could not wait to have morning come ... so that I could do a Yoga withe Adriene practice! This helped but this old old body has so many aches. I hope that continuing with Adriene will ease me.

Something that keeps me coming back to YWA year after year is how it is somehow exactly what I need, when I need it. Sometimes it's the poetry in the daily letter, sometimes is the physical movement I didn't realize my body was craving, and sometimes (like today) it's Adriene bursting into song or making a reference that makes my whole face light up with a smile. I needed "Be my (Our) Guest" today. Thank you Adriene for sharing yourself and your time with us.

I almost dropped a tear when Adrienne said "you did it!". Before my practice time today , I was out for a walk and I fell on my ankle and sprained it quite harshly. I felt so upset that I cannot continue this Journey. I decided to check Day 14 anyway and found a way around doing this practice (luckily it was a very light one) and not miss my practice for today. It was a heart felt that we take our strength for granted sometimes, whilst it's much better for the soul to appreciate every bit of move our bodies can afford. Practicing today with my right ankle out of the picture made me see more how I am so fortunate to be able to move with the rest of my body. Please wish me a quick recovery, everyone. 🤍 Thank you, Adrienne!

Thank you Adriene for such a relaxing practice! It always amazes me how beautifully your instruction flows and how you always remember to say the same things when we stretch out both sides of our bodies in case I forget. ex from this video: dial the hip down. These little reminders make a world of a difference when I am in the posture. I felt a bit tight today, so this practice was perfect! I feel a lot more open now, in every meaning of the word. I am very happy to BE YOUR GUEST on this journey:) Congratulations on your engagement by the way!!!

I am here for Day 14, today is the first time I felt like missing it because its my birthday, however I knew I would be so disappointed with myself, so when Adriene said the mind will not want to show up today, she was right, but I loved every moment of the practice and feel really proud of myself. Awesome. I have to guiltily admit that its been a darn strenuous week, and my schedule was a bit wacky. SO I ended up doing a "catch up" Sunday - doing Days, 11, 12, 13 and 14 in one full run - and Wowzers, LOVED IT. Feel so good! I was feeling the same! I had no idea how much my body needed that slow deep stretch! Honestly, it was more challenging for me than I had expected; it took me by surprise. I think that means it is exactly what I needed :-)

The beginning of this video gave me a chuckle. It seems as the yoga journey progresses, Adriene becomes more open and confident in showing her personality, and actually, so am I. Doing yoga every day is giving me a steady stream of confidence and serenity that lasts throughout my day!

Today was hard. Some of these "fold over" stretches are not possible for someone my shape and size. I was fighting discouragement for the first half of this practice. I just reminded myself I can only do what I can do, and modified to the best of my ability. It's okay to feel discouraged. I am definitely not Adriene! But I trust her to guide me and she makes sure I know as long as I keep showing up and working, that is what matters.

It took me many years of yoga to "fold". It depends on your body. Now I am pretty good at it. You will be too in time. :)

Yes, we did it! 🙌🙂 today I almost did not make it because I am surrounded by a lot of people and there is a lot of movement so I was about to postpone my meditation and yoga practices but I recalled how messy my life becomes when I stop doing my practices, and recalled I had the choice to follow the crowd right away or take the time to make my life less hectic and despite my initial rush. I made it!!! I chose the path that is right for me!!! 🤗
