Flat earth experiments are like a grab bag of crazy ideas and good ideas executed poorly. Have yet to see a single "proof" that is not an utter disaster. So, I mean, I am sure that someone, somewhere has used GPS to "prove" flat earth theory to their own satisfaction. For all we know, Mad Mike used GPS as an altimeter.

Building a rocket isn’t difficult. We did it in a technology systems class in 7th grade using only raw materials. All you would need to do is scale that up and install some form of life support. Landing safely, as you may have noticed, is where it gets truly tricky.

This was the first Tosh material I ever saw. One of the better ones too. You have to admit that Mike guy was likable and a good sport. Too bad I think he probably used Flat Earth as a means to the end of realizing his dream. Died doing that at 64. Good on him sadly

Actually, it's the opposite. From up in a plane, you can't see the highest points of our planet unless you're really close. You can fly across an ocean and see nothing but water. Where's all the land hiding? Underneath the waves? So what you're actually seeing...is the curvature of earth, keeping Mount Everest, etc. from your view.
