Talk about eating my words - this chair yoga is not the fluff i thought it was going to be. I laughed at how out of shape i am and how truly unco-ordinated I seem to be. I’ve said it before here, but I want to say again how grateful I am for these workouts! I have a severe tendon injury in my foot, arthritis in my hip, I’m just about to turn 65, and I had been feeling so defeated. I also don’t have money for gyms or personal trainers. I’ve been a really active person all my life and have taken for granted having a strong healthy body. All of the sudden I felt like I was sidelined from life. But your workouts are giving me hope! I can really work up a sweat and feel so many of my muscles engaged and working. You’re an angel, Lauren!

Found this workout when I wasn't really in the mood to exercise and it appealed as it was seated. Turns out it was perfect, good intensity and as challenging as it would have been standing. Definitely one for the Favourites, for those less motivated days!

I can't believe how incredible this workout was. I injured my achilles so I'm unable to do my usual HIIT workouts as well as jogging. Great HIIT workout. I like when you say “You be you” and I do just that! Part of the cardio, I did standing and then I paused the video to add more squats and some more shoulder exercises. Almost 57 and I have had an injury but wanted to continue with my physical exercise. This has been perfect Lauren. Your pace and voice are soothing and encouraging. @@SeniorShapeFitness I did. And I loved it. I'm always amazed how you make the workouts so unique and thorough, especially the chair classes. I'm recovering from a broken neck, with both osteo and rheumatoid arthritis. I'm determined to stay as flexible and functional as possible!

I enjoyed the video. I had retirees join me and they said it was more of an intermediate class then a beginner/senior class :). It was a good workout!

That was FUN!! 😄 I'm using a soccer ball between my knees on some moves (like pushing into the floor) or doing 'squats' in some other of your videos. Can't manage the kicks/squats due to knee pain but the ball helps ease any pain.

WOW!!! This workout was a killa!!! I used 5 lb weights, but towards the end I was so fatigued; next time I'll use 3 pounders. Excellent workout.❤️🤸🧎🏃🏋️
