When the new Fifty Shades came out, we raided our cucumber garden and snuck in 18 cucumbers into the theater- and I'm talking about big girthy cucumbers here...HUGE- and hid them on the seats and cup holders. We called it "Project Pickle".... it made watching the film hilarious, especially when a group of 40 year old ladies found a few and try to figure out why there were phallic vegetables in the theater.

I swear the writer of this series doesn't get the implications of what they set up. It's stunning. So many problems could be fixed with a line. Here, watch. the vibrator scene where Grey punishes Ana for going out (You know, after she was assaulted). You know how to fix it? One line of dialogue by Anastasia. Weird as it is to say, it's a feeling of both ultimate danger and complete safety. I know it doesn't make sense. But roleplayed violence in NO way feels like real danger when done properly. So if I'd been in a real kidnapping or life-threatening situation, then I'd be surprised if I was alright enough for kink after a couple WEEKS, never mind the next day or two.
