For real! And it all comes down to how much damage the ink itself does passively. I think Splatoon 4 should incorporate a special that buffs your ink itself. Like, maybe it could glow a bit brighter for like 15 seconds and it'd be harder to cover up, it'd do more damage, and it'd slow and damage opponents who stepped in it FAR more than it does normally. That would be a DOPE special! Like MPU, poison ink, and Sticky ink all in one, plus making it harder to cover with enemy ink!

@@15TheGuy I got lucky and rolled a ton of ink saver sub perks on my slosher run. Was able to throw a record high of 6 fizzies in a row without having to recharge ink plus I had tristrike which just made it the most OP thing ever

@@goblin0887 Try a drone oriented run, she is utterly INSANE! She throws out bombs and inkstrikes constantly and she gets a sprinkler on her head! Though, on a zero hack run, where she only gets one ability, you're right she feels underwhelming in that context.

So far with my experience I would say the best abilities for brella are the drone and luck abilities, as since the brella can tank a ridiculous amount of damage, having chips like filling your gauge while moving, turfing, or with splats, makes winning a breeze. Also, being able to stock up on armor, ink, cds, and batteries makes you almost unkillable, as with the no launch brella chip, you are doing damage with a shield that takes damage like a fortress.

Within 3 floors I got a Luna Blaster with the range of a Range and the dream kit Splat/Crab. This mode is cracked. The run died unfortunately thanks to a splat zone with the darkness debuff. I sorely missed having Sprinkler that run :/

The only real difference in the tier list is that Fizzy and wall are awful in Side Order. Fizzy is just a super slow version of the real bombs that does about half the damage, and it's so easy to get good paint for yourself that the paint is not useful, while wall doesn't do anything useful for completing the objectives, really. Splat Bomb and especially suction bomb can be entire builds in themselves -- you can throw dozens and dozens in a row with the right perks, and stack explosion radius and damage on them, with tri-strike or triple splashdown as your special to benefit from the same perks and charge in seconds from all the paint. Chara was impressed with Sprinkler here, but it's really bad (for both damage and paint) after the first couple floors and doesn't scale with anything. Suction > Splat > Burst >>>> Mine >>>> Curling > Mist > Fizzy > Sprinkler > Wall, IMO.

reason this dlc's a 10/10 is because i finished the boss with dualies and i had all the buffed chips and out loud i said "this is chaos this is so chaotic" then realized thats the whole point of the game like holy shit it made me acknowledge chaos out loud

6:11 I would say try not to have Damage Distant on brella if you also have no launch since its way harder to move and kite, and only pick up Drone Battery if you have a Pallet based around the drone with expensive points for special, like tri-strike, wail, random items, and splat bomb.

I beat my first run yesterday with brella +suction and booyah bomb after a couple of runs. And then later that night, i played with bucket (same kit) and i won without dying a single time, and today i recently beat it again with splatana. Now, i am not usually good with these weapons, so i was surprised, but i guess that is why the upgrades are so good 😅

Good tip: Hit the top propellor in the turbine escort tower control mode, it moves much faster

It moves the same, but if you hit both turbines, it fills the bar twice. So weapons with spread like buckets and Brella should aim for the top so the shot hits top and bottom
