Cheesy Beef and Rice Skillet // One Pan Dish Step by Step ❤️

I think cooking is fun, especially when it's a One Pan Dish. I always get all my ingredients ready to go so everything will flow easy, a glass of my favorite drink and some smooth beautiful music and I can cook all day. This Cheesy Beef and Rice Skillet dish is out of this world delicious, your whole family will love it. I hope you give it a try.❤️
INGREDIENTS _______________
1 lb. ground beef 80/20
1 C. Chopped onions
1 C. diced orange Bell pepper (or your favorite)
2 large diced Roma tomatoes
1 C. Jasmine or long grain rice (rinsed)
2 1/2 C. Freshly grated Colby jack cheese
3/4 tsp Salt or you decide
2 Large minced garlic cloves
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 tsp Onion powder
1/2 tsp Ground cumin
1 tsp Paprika ( for color and flavor
Small bunch of Chopped cilantro
2 1/2 C. Beef broth ( I used 2 1/2 tsp Knorr Beef flavored bouillon with 2 1/2 C. hot water)

It sounds like you must have been in the kitchen all day with that amount of cooking for Mexican food. If you were able to make that many dishes or courses on your first time cooking Mexican food you are a genius!❤ And brave to try them on guests! Safe without heat/spicy chili's added though.

Thank you for the compliments. Yes, I was brave to try new recipes on guests. I reviewed the videos several times. I typed up the recipes along with notes. I made the beef and beans the day before. I saved all the bean juice for reheating. I made the rice the same day of the dinner. I spent two weeks studying and shopping. No genius, just an organized planner. Thanks very much.

I made this today, just delicious. I love Rachel and her wonderful calm way of cooking. It was warm today and I didn’t want to turn on the oven to just melt the cheese. I put the cover back on for 8-10 minutes and turned down the heat. It melted beautifully and I didn’t have the oven fighting the A/C. Another winner from Rachel.

I love home made corn tortillas!💛 Yours looks so soft. 🤤 I have been making something similar to this rice-ground beef dish, but without cheese, and used just water instead of beef broth.
