Even if everything what she said is genuine, it only made her look woefully ignorant to me. She is a textbook example on why you shouldn’t just run away from your past behaviors. They don’t go away by ignoring them. Edit: And I see she broke in OP’s house. She knew what she was doing. Right. So because she tried then, when seeing her again instead of apologizing her first instinct was to insult her. Such growth. OP relaying the incident to the school, when asked, and later to friends, again when asked, is not bullying. Only a bully sees being called out as bullying.

Story 1 - NTA It is pretty apparently that Op’s complaint was the last straw in a pile of complaints against her. It was not just OP’s complaint. It is said that bullies, when they grow up, take jobs where they can continue bullying people: Police, Teachers, Nurses, Care Homes, and Receptionists. And it is pretty apparent Tash is continuing to bully her students and the parents have complained. Tash has shown no remorse, even as she responded to Op. Instead of truly apologizing, she still puts the onus on OP for “blocking her” and “not taking a joke.” She should not be caring for kids.

Exactly! I’m not surprised that this bully went onto become a teacher. It is obviously clear that some people have thankfully never been bullied because they have no idea what bullying is. Reporting abuse is NOT bullying. If your actions are repetitive and you lose your job over it then reporting is the moral thing to do. Tash's reply seems like justifying her actions: -oh op blocked me before I could apoligise...would you allow your tormenter to be able to reach you when you move. -(restaraunt story) "It was a joke".....jokes for one can be hurtful still. South Park did a story where Kyle's dad was cyber bulling everyone (to point of suicide) and said it was only a joke. -saying someone used to look aweful...bringing it why, etc is a backhanded compliment...still an insult The person you bullied reacting is not bullying the bully. She needs to realize op was only the straw that broke the camel's back...or in this cause....the complain that got her fired
@gl81722 жыл бұрын
Yep. Everything she said was just a pile of excuses to try to explain why nothing she did was really her fault... and not even plausible excuses at that. They had mutual friends they stayed in contact with... if she genuinely wanted to get an apology to OP, she could have. But she didn't; she just wanted an excuse to say that she'd tried, so that she could tell people (or herself) it wasn't really her fault. It's nobody's responsibility to make themselves permanently available to a bully just on the off chance they decide to grow up some day, and decide that their future non-bully status hinges on apologizing to them specifically. Cripes. She even did get to talk to OP again later, and went straight back to her same old tricks, so that excuse goes right out the window. There's no expiration date for acting like a sane adult; she could have chosen to be a better person on any of the subsequent times they saw each other, if she'd actually wanted to.

Story 1: I had a teacher do this sort of thing to me in middle school. Thankfully, she wasn't my teacher, but I was in her room to get extra help. I am bad at math and have needed help with it throughout my whole schooling until I was in college. So I was in this teacher's bonus class for extra help. I'm not a visual learner, I'm an auditory learner with ADHD that was undiagnosed at the time, so I would draw in my classes while listening to what was being said. This is a method I used in college and it got me very good results. This teacher saw that I wasn't looking at her and said something along the lines of "hey, purple kid". I didn't know she was talking to me because I was wearing magenta, which isn't purple. It's closer to pink. So I kept doing what I was doing, thinking that the lesson would continue. She kept trying to get my attention until I finally looked up since I was wondering why there was no teaching. She told me I needed to pay attention and I said that I had been. She said obviously I wasn't since I didn't know she was talking to me. I said that I didn't know she was talking to me because she kept calling me "purple kid" and that for starters, my sweatshirt wasn't purple, it was magenta. Not like calling me "magenta kid" would have made it better, she should have just used my name. When I said this, she mocked my tone of voice (which was just my regular voice, there was no inflection in it) and said "it's magenta". I sat there going wtf. Here I was, a 12 year old being childishly mocked by a woman who was at least in her mid 30s because she didn't address me in a way that I could understand and doing so in front of my peers who already didn't like me. All of this to say NTA, teachers like this should not be in a position of authority over children. Especially children who have social issues already. And even more so that Tash already had complaints from other parents.

there are some people who shouldnt be special eduction teachers (heck teaching in general). I was in special needs schools growing up and in middle school had a teacher from hell (if Karens have a stereotypical look....evil teachers do and she fit the bill). she was super strict and sometimes was a bully. For some reason she picked on me the most despite being a good student, with good grades. one day I felt sick with a really bad stomach pain and asked to let me call my dad to come get me and she flat out refused. calling me a liar and wanting to go home early (we had like 3 hours left) which I had never lied about being sick before.. took me a while to get her to let me call my dad (I still think she did just to shut me up). I went home where I was 100% sick...just...didnt know how much. fast forward next morning and I was being prepped to have appendix removed (doctors said it was very bad. LIke close to bursting) my parents did give her a piece of their mind first chance they got. calling her out on calling me a liar when I had never done so. would she still call me it I was in class when appendix burst? she did apologise but my parents saw her for what I had been telling them since I started having her a teacher. I didnt have to deal with her much longer as graduated a few months later. other students didnt have long to deal with her as she retired the following year to this day (23 years later) we talk about how she shouldnt have been a special needs teacher

Story 1: WOW, so she never truly grew up. She is still a bully, and we can even see that in the comments, Tash isn't apologetic, she is defensive. OP turned around the moment Tash said something wrong, and that was the last straw. Tash ruined her own future by not keeping her mouth shut for one moment, note the comment "I do not think I should be fired for making an observation". And now she claims she was being bullied, NO you are getting fired for a STRING of bad behavior. S1 Update: So she claims she was getting bullied, and decides to literally break into someone's home as revenge for the so called bullying. Tash only became worse, and it sounds like she had a principal or school attendant parent(Or a rich benefactor parent) that made all her problems disappear. Now when in the real world she doesn't have the protection but doesn't understand the consequences WILL go through this time. Definitely good OP ran into her and saved an uncountable number of kids. Story 2: While OP is kinda young, he NEEDS to polish his backbone to stop his father from disrespecting. Next OP needs to step up and get out of the house, get a place for the new family and show the dad OP is a responsible adult. S2 Update: Never mind, OP did do the work of stepping up and getting all the needed stuff for the kid. And it seems the dad finally realized that being a hardass was straining his relationship with his son.

Story 1: "You're BuLlYiNg her!!!1!!" The first thing she said to Op after not seeing her for _years_ was an _insult_ and you want to sit there and cry on her behalf because poor little princess has to face consequences for her actions? Cry me a damn river. Edit: LMFAO "I don't think it's fair of her to take away the opportunity for me to grow" You saw Op and decided it was on sight and insulted her _immediately._ You had plenty of time to grow into a better person and instead decided to wither into a worse version of yourself who spews venom the moment you see an old victim. "I only meant she _used_ to look awful!" Okay well it still came off as incredibly rude. You literally could have just said "Oh you look great!" and left the second half out but you _didn't._ Edit 2: I hate police. "We can't do anything unless there's a threat to you or your family" anonymous letters threatening to ruin Op's life and several texts from multiple people saying similar things isn't enough for you? 🤔 her escalating as quickly as she did is exactly why you should _NEVER_ just "wait until there's an actual/direct threat" because some people don't _make_ threats, they jump to literal crimes like breaking and entering, assault, and sometimes even _murder_ all while giving no threat or indication that that's what they're planning. I think it says a whole lot that Tash decided to become a teacher. She just cannot get away from the school mentality in the school environment. She _needs_ to be there in order to keep reliving her own school life.

Story 1 NTA: sharing my own story. When I was on my last year in high school in Venezuela 🇻🇪 we had this new biology teacher in the middle of the school year, on the first class she asked us to make a circle around her with our desks, and I happened to sit next to her. So we are in the middle of the class, and I ask if I can make a question related to the class, she out of nowhere slaps me in the face and tells me to shut up. I was in shock. Another classmate said I am going to the bathroom, and she left to get the principal, that was the last time we saw that teacher

Tash in the comments “Allie and I didn’t get along as kids” and her bullying was “just a joke”. What a miserable human being, downplaying everything and making herself a victim.

Lol at "Tash" justifying all her terrible ways and bullying, and making herself out to be a victim. She sounds miserable.

Now now, Tash couldn't possibly change on her own in her adulthood because she couldn't do the magical apology to OP as a teen. It's one thing to have a bullys past come back to haunt them, but this was all present behavior she was paying for. I agree on the narcissist prayer being lived in that womans day to day life.

I had a teacher bully tf outta me when I was in 6th grade told me I'd be "a bum living under a bridge smelling like pee working at McDonald's " 😂😂😂😂cause my mom slept with her bf 30yrs before I walked in her classroom she actually threw a binder at me

Tash is so oblivious to her entitled character that she's a perfect example of the grandiose narcissist's inability to understand what they're doing wrong 😄

I really want to know what Tash's endgame plan was. Like, I could see her breaking into the house to terrorize them but just sitting on their couch? In middle of the day where other people cleary saw her? I wanna know what she thought she was gonna achieve and then how she intended to get out of it? Was she gonna tell them breaking into the house was a joke so they can't call the cops?
@susankaempfer84278 ай бұрын
I love the cop logic that they can’t do anything but stay in the house as much as possible. 😂 So, are you saying there’s danger? If so, why can’t you do anything? 🙄

Story 1: Gotta love it when karma coming to collect it's due. Some people never change.... If Tash truly was sorry she'd say something along the lines of "Hey, sorry I was such an asshole when I was younger. I understand if you can't forgive me for it."
@CanonSkyrissian2 жыл бұрын
story 1: karma is a bitch and tash got her just desserts. someone like that should not be anywhere near children, let alone children with learning difficulties/disabilities story 2: op told his dad the perfect way imo. taking him to his apartment and showing him all the baby stuff showed without telling that he is taking responsibility and is about as ready as one can be to be a parent. best of luck to op and his girlfriend, I hope the delivery is a smooth and safe process. and that baby is gonna be so doted on by gramps, I can feel it in my bones^^

I'm so sorry you had to go thru this. The police should have investigated fit telephones harassment. I had an ex that just could not take no for an answer. It was horrible between the calls from him, his family, his exwife, his current gf and the gf husband. I had enough and went to the police who were absolutely lovely. My folder was over an inch wide. A real jerry springer moment... oh yes i got over a dozen calls from that darn show too. So chin up.and carry on. She just imploded her own life

Story one: Tash should've thought twice before being an AH to you, OP. What a nasty attitude. You did the right thing by keeping her away from your daughter. ಠ_ಠ Story one/after update: They're accusing you of stalking...when they're the ones going full-blown stalkers on you. Yeah, screw them over with those charges. And have the stuff they did as proof. They're disgusting. ಠ_ಠ

i wanna bet that tash actually just tried to text her online to harass or bully her at some point, but she was already blocked by OP which made her pissed off and she tried to spin it into "op is so mean they blocked me i just wanted to apologise and be niiiicce"
@cheekyweb80552 жыл бұрын
That Tash girl kept on making excuses. She could of apologized to OP during that birthday party but didn’t. She instead called OP fat. 😑 She also had another opportunity to apologize meeting her as a teacher. Thank goodness this lady isn’t teaching kids anymore. 😅

Thank god Tash got fired, she got a job as a Special ED so she could still be a bully but this time to people who couldn't communicate what she was doing. I'd like to see Op's friends' excuses for Tash breaking into OP's house, where her DAUGHTER lives. Good luck to Tash finding ANY sort of job once she's charged! : ) How did her friends not take into account the OTHER complaints Tash got?

Man... I just read story 1 on reddit last night. Tash is completely unhinged. Can't apologize without playing the victim, and doesn't understand why saying that someone looks better now compared to when they were growing up isn't a complement. Also, who the f**k breaks into a house to 'apologize' to someone they bullied? OP's NTA here. OP, good luck with the charges.

It would seem Tash is still delusional and not taking any responsibility for her past and present behaviour. Calling OP fat was just a joke? My wife is a teacher and I have NEVER, EVER heard her tell me some teacher she knows jokingly insulted a parent. In fact, that is the type of behaviour that ends careers. P.S And she is still bullying OP and had the audacity to break into her house. Once a bully ...

@immortalsofar53142 жыл бұрын
"We can't do anything because she's tenured." Bullsh*t! All tenure means is that she can't be let go _without reason._ Abuse of children is definitely a valid reason and if the principal is incapable (or unwilling) of handling that then maybe it's time to put his tenure to the test. I know what the commenter means by the narcissist's prayer in real time. My ex had her faults but suddenly transformed and her excuses for her selfish behaviour made 3 full houses of Narcissist Prayer bingo with, given hindsight, a dozen examples of each.

For the bully story. You "Tash" are still a bully. The op doesn't have to let you apologize, make things better, or whatever you think she owes you. OP, I was you...stay strong. One of my bullies has apologized, I am civil but not friendly. From our teens all through high school. We were both in our 50's before she apologized over Facebook message. Tash grow up already.
