Really enjoying having you back. I’m turning 30 in march, I have a daughter and son turning 3 and 1 in a week and I’ve really been focusing on what things I want to bring into the next decade of my life especially when it’s such a key development of my kids lives morally. Having struggled most my life with my identity (I am afro latina and jewish) and feeling like people try to force me into a box or saying i don’t check enough boxes, I want my kids have a better experience (rather the outlook and how to react since you can’t control everything) and not feel like they have to conform. Here’s to living as and raising free agents.

I love listening to these shows. I was a paraprofessional for my local school, I didn't pay into SSI I paid into PERS. PUBLIC EDUCATIONAL RETIREMENT. Whatever, I had to retire early because of my MVA. My left side was broken ,(4 surgeries). Also, PTSD was diagnosed. So no working with kids, especially my moderate/severe ones :(. Did you know not ONE insurance company covers gastric sleeve surgery? Know who does? Medicaid!! The surgery is $26,000. I have a ventral hernia. Can't be prepared because of weight...worked with dietitians 2x, would lose 7 lbs in 2 weeks. Problem is I can only walk about 200ft then I have to sit. I have 2 widened SI joints. Need injections 3 to 4 times a year. Help me with info to congress, etc. I need to fight this. This hernia can begin strangling my large intestine,called necrosis and will keep killing my tissue and I die. Why do this white shirts think they know what's better for me!! I loved your "newsboy/golf " hat on your walk and talk!! Good Italian boy speak your mind.

I believe to my soul we are all equally valuable and should be judged on character, not religious doctrine etc. We should all live, love, work, serve our country, marry freely. But for the life of me I just can't call a single person 'they or them', I just can't work that into my lifelong vocabulary. If you are trans, I'll happily use your chosen gender and name. But when you're all or none of the above and insist I 'pronoun' you accordingly...sorry. Love you but that's too linguistically cumbersome for me.

I recently watched your conversation on "No Lie" and was interested in your take on an idea. In a mental exercise of changing the two-party system to something else would the following make sense? To change the way we vote from a candidate-centric way to an issue-centric way. Instead of filling in a circle next to a name you recognize (for way too many sadly), we change it to a circle next to your opinion on many different issues that the country is wrestling with. You would then be aligned with the candidates that best suit your beliefs. Having this be the 'primary' in a certain sense and then have a 4, (with no ranking) leading candidate, debate on those issues before voting once again. This personality quiz-style approach would transform campaigning into a more issue-driven event, would it not? It would dissolve the party system as we know it, right?

Dislike to put a label on it, as every country and people has their own version of it, but the comment was typical U.K. chav language and behaviour but the content of the message seemed more indicative of idle troll thumb-itis. I'm here to tell you that he/ she is not representative of your typical UK viewer. I've been team Cuomo for many years that I lived in the US, and you are more to me than just another guy on TV. You are more than just sound bites. You're my kind of people! You're someone that I wish that there were more of, and as much as I cherish my friendships, I think we all wish we had a friend like you. I feel able to consistently trust your logic and reasoning, and more importantly, where it comes from. "You're making a false equivalency" Anytime an opinion of an individual is referred to as a group or one of them, their side, the problem perpetuates. "The Democrats" and "The Republicans" are not a person. The whole concept of referring to a problem with someone's perspective or how they should be treated as 'them' risks devalueing the idea that an individual and what they care about isn't really defined that way. They may be a person in that group, that aligns themselves with that group and what the rest of the group supports, but that group is not that person. It certainly is easier to dismiss someone when you don't have to acknowledge them as a person. It's almost as if the idea of us and them is ingrained in our DNA. It applies to how people refer to opinions on political party, race, gender, nationality, age/generation, whatever. If you can put it on a chart you can refer to any individual with that characteristic as them. Once an individual is associated with others, you can make predictions of their bahavior and form opinions on them. After all, they're all the same. Everyone is bad and they all need to be stopped, so everything can be better. Well, you did it and you're one of everyone so, you and everyone else are the reason why everything is worse than it could be. "Be a critical thinker"
