Being an Archery coach for 120 or so kids you don’t know how many times I’ve had same discussion about drawing the bow, now I’m far from a professional I’m a volunteer coach , form is everything even in nasp shooting fingers , great video, I shoot a Mathew’s hyper lite 2005 model I think , last bow I bought was a helium , I sold it liked the hyper lite better …. Keep making memories

I watched another video where Chris was showing how to properly draw back a bow with the draw arm elbow raised. I tried it and after 47 years of bowhunting (drawing the wrong way) I could not believe how easy it was on my shoulder. Thank you Chris!

Awesome video as always, beauty of a bow set up. I think i injured my shoulder watching Yappy draw though. A real honor having George there and break down the mechanics. I've been only shooting for 1 year but thanks to people like George and you Chris. I've been able to start with better habits.

V3x will still be a solid bow next year. Wait till the new ones come out and get the v3x discounted. Go to a dealer and test fire one. Some like the pull better on the v3 then the v3x.

I want to buy a new bow but my current draw weight on my Mathews mission craze is around 40 or like 45 pounds. I want to buy a v3 from Mathews but I will have to wait 1-2 years to get stronger to be able to pull back the 60 pounds. That the v3 comes in. Are all Mathews bows for hunting in the 60 pound starting for draw weight?
@michaelrobinson69882 жыл бұрын
You could definitely get the draw weight down to at least 55lb on a v3, maybe a little lower. Get it with 60lb mods and back the limb bolts off a couple or three turns. You may be able to even get it down close to 50lb draw weight. Practice every day, draw your bow right and increase the poundage a pound or two at a time and you’ll get there. Keep it up!
