I got a 2005 BMW 325i for 2k. It was misfiring, but the body was clean, a few manageable dings and scratches, botched interior, but it was practically rust free. Rare for a used car in my area, so it was a big win. 2 blocks after driving it from the buyer upper radiator hose blew. Had to walk an hour around the city to find a replacement, and use the tools of a friendly old guy to get her going. I knew going in it was going to be a lot of work to make it reliable. So far, I've rebuilt the vanos, replaced the coil packs, sparkplugs, coolant lines, exhaust intake boots, mass airflow sensor, fuel injectors, valve cover gasket, oil filter housing gasket, thermostat, water pump, and flushed and replaced all the fluids. It was frustrating, painful, and freaking awesome.

4.4: BS Factor: To prevent cheating, all cars will be inspected by a panel appointed by the Organizers. At that time, all teams will be given an opportunity to describe the car’s purchase and prep. If the panel believes the limit set out in Rule 4.1 has been exceeded, it will assign a Bullshit Factor (BSF) equal to one BSF per $10 above the limit. The entry will be docked one lap for each BSF assigned. (Ten dollars = one BSF = one lap.) @@zart3374 Will you go to Heaven when you die? Here’s a quick test: Have you ever lied, stolen, or used God’s name in vain? Jesus said, “Whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” If you have done these things, God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart, and the Bible warns that one day God will punish you in a terrible place called Hell. But God is not willing that any should perish. Sinners broke God’s Law and Jesus paid their fine. This means that God can legally dismiss their case: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Then Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death. Today, repent [turn away from your sins and don’t practice them] trust Jesus, and God will give you eternal life as a free gift. Then read the Bible daily and obey it. God will never fail you

@Leo Castanon If god has any issues with me or rules that he would like me to follow then he can inform me himself. I don't welcome third party involvement in our relationship, and I will never trust any man who claims to have a more direct connection. God is within us all, and no one is more qualified an audience than the next. The bible was written by men centuries ago, an outdated interpretation of gods will at best, a mechanism for man to manipulate and control other men at worst. Hey I was also doing an e46 for lemons with an Xi and found that you are going to need to replace the oil pump and you absolutely need to. There’s an issue with it at high revs where the shaft will break and sieze the engine. There is a kit you can buy to replace it. The chain for the oil pump is also has some slack from the factory and you’re gonna want to put a tensioner on it. Also available in the kit with the oil pump.

Chris, you’ve helped me achieve my goal, make a 1998 Honda Civic Hatchback into a race car. It turns so many heads on the trailer. Why a trailer? Because the Civic has no windows, no headlights no power steering, no airbags and no mufflers. I race it on a 3/8 mile track, even though inside it’s somewhat quiet, everyone says that it screams on the outside. The civic has light steering, light brakes and a very light clutch.
