Hi Teoh, i already owned a surface go 3 and its pen and I'm thinking of buying the Chuwi Hi10Max. Do you know if my surface pen works with it?

I don't have a Surface pen to test so I can't say for sure. In theory, Surface pen uses MPP so it should work on the Chuwi. But as to how good the pen performance will be, not sure. I mean Chuwi's own H7 pen doesn't even perform well on their own devices for writing/drawing. But strangely the ASUS Pen 2 works much better.

Thanks for the reply. My mail with Chuwi Hi10Max and its pen just arrived and both surface pen and chuwi Hi7 pen work perfectly with the tablet with or without the magnetic case. I think your device might be defective 🤔

@@Ohjeeyz But it works fine with the ASUS Pen. And I tested 3 Chuwi H7 pens on this and all did not work well.

@teohyc hmmm that's odd. I'm not sure why that happened. I tested writing from edge to edge, especially the top part with both pens, and they came out decent. I hope the writing issue won't happen to me because i ditched my surface go and bought this instead. And i'm planning on using it every day for my uni work (notetaking and office) 🥲

We have freebook with i3 1215U Processor? What you would recommend N100 or i3 1215U?

I have not tried i3 1215U so I cannot say much about that. As for N100, I have used more than a month, and still using, and it works well for light computing tasks with multi tasking. Does not heat up much hence no fan noise.

There aren't many good tablets with pen support at the price range. So maybe Samsung Tab S6 Lite 2024.

@@petrosgeo7909 I actually do not know because I don't really follow laptop releases. I only review laptops as and when companies contact me. Having said that, definitely go with a screen that has at least 100% sRGB colour support, and at least 400 nits brightness (usually will be 10-20% lower in real world). Good battery life may be difficult to find. Go look at the price of the old M1 Macbook Air, and see if there are current Windows laptops that can match that in price. Otherwise, the M1 Macbook Air is still a really great option, even today.

I own the 2023 version with SD870. If you are wondering about the pen performance then it depends on the app. In general S pen is better, if S pen is 100 then the Lenovo Precision Pen 3 is about 80. Although if you use Infinite Painter with its Low latency mode(set to fastest) and Concepts, the performance is near identical to an S pen at least in regards to latency. I would rate Precision Pen 3 in Infinite Painter and Concept about 95.
