I've got a BM 940-1 and I love it. It was my first EDC and I've replaced all the hardware with titanium. Having said that, I cant get the blade centered unless I overtighten the pivot. It's got a lot of blade play. The axis spring broke after a few years and the knife was useless until I replaced it. Disassembling and reassembling is a minor nightmare. I can't sharpen the S90V without ruining my sharpening system because it's so tough. Let's see, what else? Oh yeah, this was a $250 knife that now retails for $350. Would anyone put up with all of that if it was a different brand? No way. So in other words, you're paying hundreds of dollars just to have a pretty little butterfly logo on the blade. IMHO.

Do you know what kind of finish is on the blade? I've looked on the Civivi site and can't find any actual information other than "black." Some black finishes are more durable than others and I'm concerned about it getting scratched. Thanks in advance and for the very useful video!
